There are some rather old "Oolite Starter" instructions here which could possibly do with updating.

The readme on Github is better maintained than the wiki. Although that one also does not indicate who should go for the 'generic' package.

How about you install the 'Beginner's Set' Flavour? It consists of many useful and nice expansions to increase your experience.

The wiki is back. At lest to me.

So now that the immediate problem is resolved, it makes sense to continue looking into backups. The more the merrier.
