Re: Joysticks
I would guess the other way round: Oolite is too old to properly support the XBox controllers. The XBox One controller worked without a hitch - plug in and away I went. The firmware of the 360 controller *might* need updating, but that’s all I can suggest at the moment without a controller to test ...

Re: Joysticks
I guess the 360 controller is just too old for Oolite in its current form? Obviously Windows (still) recognises it, as does Steam, because I use it in lots of other games (including, for example Elite: Dangerous and Star Wars Squadrons). I would guess the other way round: Oolite is too old to prope...

If hardheads are not smart enough to follow the engine trail it should work

Re: (Demo) Black Holes
Just wanted to park this idea here: A Black Hole would be on the edges of a regular Oolite solar system? Or in Interstellar Space? Hmm. I'd expect a black hole to be the center of a galaxy. Which means it starts as a collapsed star and as that in the center of a solar system, then aggregates mass s...

Re: [WIP] new GUI for debug console
Yay, we did it! :-) Thank you so much for your support, @another_commander. Now the last item to be verified is the MacOs build. Unless that might be not required at all. I heard the Mac version of Oolite comes with a built-in debug console. Plus we do not compile Oolite for Mac any more anyway...

Re: PR482
Wonderful! I just installed Oolite 1.91.0.7616-240527-f882b71-linux-test-x86_64 and checked the --help command. The output is like this: hiran@silver:~/GNUstep/Applications/Oolite$ ./oolite --help Usage: oolite [options] Options can be any of the following: --compile-sysdesc Compile system descripti...

Re: [WIP] new GUI for debug console
Still error, I'm afraid. I think this time it's missing pyWin32. At least it is no more the previous error.... Here is another attempt: https://github.com/OoliteProject/oolite-debug-console/releases/tag/v2.0.4-newGUI.3 I admit I am poking in the dark. Not my programming language. Not my operating s...

Re: [WIP] new GUI for debug console
The Windows build fails to run, apparently because twisted has not been included in the package. Here is the error: Thank you for bringing it up. I added twisted on the windows build environment. Could you please check again? https://github.com/OoliteProject/oolite-debug-console/releases/tag/v2.0.4...

Re: [WIP] new GUI for debug console
Just to let everybody know: We have now builds of the Oolite Debug Console for all three platforms (Linux, Mac, Windows). While I was able to test the functionality of the Linux build, the other two just exist. Could someone check if the Windows version and the Mac version work? If yes, we can merge...

Oh! And Hiran, just looking down your list of Expansions by Name , I think that most of your "No Wiki" OXPs have their own page, with most of the remainder having a dedicated section on another page There are two ways the links are handled both by the Oolite Expansion Catalog and OoliteSt...

Ok that OXP is poorly documented. No information URL, no wiki page. After all I found a readme that I just copied verbatim to the Wiki.

Such an OXP should be part of the standard game installation.

Ooh, here's a writeup:
viewtopic.php?p=279939&hilit=ils+shuttle#p279939
So I need to check whether ILS is installed.
