That frequency leads me to believe there's more going on here. There's only 3 ships that should spawn an officer escape pod when destroyed, and I thought I set it up that these ships only launch from SecComs when the player is in there area. For you to see it 5 times a session means these ships (or...

Behemoth gives loads of kills
So... I was in Witch Space and dropped a Q bomb for a laugh and 50 odd kills. I then attacked the remaining Behemoth and received two Right On Commanders! I realised I had received 350 kills, and this was continuing as I kept pinging away at the Behemoth, which seemed to be indestructible (at least ...

As an alien item they are worth a lot more than the 50Cr for a kill, providing you know where to offload them, but I do agree that they should not count as a kill unless they are firing at you of course.[/quote] Agreed: usually my cargo bay is full anyway (I'd rather take the kill). I think they did...

Updating OXPs by clicking
Hello Automatic OXP updating was mentioned a couple of years ago in this thread: https://bb.oolite.space/viewtopic.php?t=1808&highlight=automatic+updates Did anything come of this? Is there a way to build updates into Oolite in a similar way to the way Firefox does it: i.e. a notification pops u...

'You have scooped a navy officer'???
Hello all I keep receiving the message 'You have scooped a navy officer' at random times while flying around and even once when docked at a station! When I dock with the station, I then am informed that I have rescued a rear admiral and am awarded 750 Cr. I have Galactic_Navy.oxp installed so presum...

Thargons
What's also a bit bad about the Thargons going inactive is that the player can ram them for a kill and >= 50 Credits each. That is a very easy way to get kills when the Navy slaughters them all for you (hence I don't take advantage of it).
