Regarding size here's my proposal: At the moment, an OXP author fills in something like: {{OXPSortableTableRow |cat=Dockables |desc=Your Ad Here! adds Convenience Stores Pi-42, Tescoo Oxpress, Star, Mall Wart, Sainsboory's & security sidewinders |a...

Size would be both for those with limited download capacity (dial-up or slow links etc), and also for limited installation/hard disk size (e.g. I run my set-up off a USB key as it's used across multiple PCs including my work one where I cannot install things). Would it suffice for there to be a war...

I'll go through and correct the errors I found later on if I get chance (fuel station certainly ain't equipment, unless your ship is somewhat on the large or thirsty side ;) ). Thank you. We appreciate your help. The only other thing I wondered was the use of symbols rather than text for the catego...

The name-and-description thing was the best compromise we could come up with as well. It certainly has made the table nice and compact, and actually works rather well as you get used to it. Been looking at this for a while... you're right, once you get used to it, it works well. I presume this is n...

Hi,

It's probably better if I just give them ssh access to the machine so they can poke it too. I've not had time for any of my projects for the last couple of weeks...

Cheers.
Hi Winston,

Ok please do that. I appreciate it.

Thanks,
Mike
Good news above.

I've messaged Winston to ask him to install these extensions. Let's see if he responds.

If he's really not interested in administering the wiki anymore, in the long term, the unthinkable might need to be considered - finding or creating a new Mediawiki host.

As answered in the other thread: delete old account, create a new one. Both Selezen & Ahruman can do that.
Thanks. I have asked Selezen.

No way to reset wiki password

I made a mistake of not changing the wiki password that was messaged to me when I first got a wiki account. I made a bigger mistake of deleting that message. I still have a cookie so can edit the wiki probably until that cookie expires. I cannot change the password in preferences, because you have t...

Grab my Second Wave and/or TCAT OXPs. They'll help toughen things up a bit. Cool. I'll give those a try. Thanks. Or it is yet another instance of the old Thargoids-attacking-each-other-instead-of-everybody-else problem? Although I thought we had squashed that. :? I didn't notice the warships attack...

Underpowered Thargoids

I had a misjump and was surrounded by Thargoid warships. This should be an "I'm boned" moment, but instead it was rather too easy to destroy them all. This seems to me to be a balance problem - the Thargoid warships are too weak IMHO. I think that they should be faster and have better shie...

That explains it then; the traders, pirates and bulk hauler distracted by battle failed to notice their proximity to the Sun. Brings a whole new meaning to the "heat of battle".

Mass suicide at the sun

I arrived at the scene of a battle with lots of derelicts around. I decided to try salvaging one of them. The bulk hauler the autopilot headed towards was near the sun. I flew towards it and noticed these explosions in the distance. It seemed that there were some pirates and traders flying too close...

Hi Frame, Just tried Save Anywhere 3.0 at a con store. Small bug at least on Linux: Scripts\Frame_save_anywhere.js should be renamed Scripts\frame_save_anywhere.js (lowercase f) otherwise the script isn't found. Once I made this change, it worked exactly as you indicated. Great work! Are you intendi...
