Cool! OK, I tried it out after changing the drive spinup to 15 like all the other ships I have seen, and dropped in BGS 1.2. All is well in my Ooniverse! this ship is awesome for headhunters but less so for traders. filling the multiple holds and then unloading them takes a lot of game time. However...

Oh and I've just found a minor bug in the script for the self-repair of the ships own systems (in case anyone else finds it too).
You mean the fact that if Vortex Ship systems gets shot up, it will not repair itself? Or was that intended? I can find no stations able to repair them either. . .

Thanks for the PM, and certainly thanks for this ship!! The controls seem a bit twitchy to me, which made docking a bit difficult until I got a docking computer. Also the short hyperspace countdown (10 secs instead of 15) played havoc with BGS.oxp v1.0. v1.2 is supposed to have a workaround for this...

Well, I upgraded Famous Planets to v2.5, and still got errors. I did dig out the error from DeepSpaceShips from a misnamed .png file, and that gave me the confidence to go into the log and find what was actually happening. It seems that either a lot of files were misnamed in 2.0, or they were missin...

Not wanting to use someone else's image in a HUD called Plagiarist. . . :P Well, I put it back in and your hub has replaced my slightly hacked Generic as my very favorite HUD. The instruments on your console/panel are a bit small, but i find everything I need easily aned you give a great deal of inf...

I like it! Only problem is that my Linux system does not seem to load the docked hud at all. Probably a naming thing, as usual, but where would the bad name be?

I tried that one. The larger IFF display is nice, as it the precision indicator, but the overall layout of the generic is much nicer on the eyes, and the layout of controls on the generic is also easier to follow. As i see it, each has it's benefits: Generic HUD has easy to follow, large indicators ...
