In case of this auction I'm wondering what the guy who sold the game first in that garage sale is thinking about it.
If I was him, I would be very, very drunk by now

Re: Supermoon

The Moon didn't look any bigger to me either. I think I read somewhere that the Moon's apparent size would increase by 14%. If my calculations are correct, the apparent diameter would then only increase by 6%, hence it wouldn't appear obviously bigger. Then again, my calculations could be wrong

Re: [REQUEST] Can someone (pagroove?) make MoonOXP

Why would you? Oolite takes place in a fictional universe, and Earth isn't part of that universe. Oolite is a recreation of a space game from the eighties called 'Elite', and that was not about Earth and didn't contain Earth. It makes no sense to include Earth now. Re: Galaxy on Fire 2

Yeah, I got it. Very nice game. I remember getting stuck fairly early on though. A mission involving destroying the baddies within a certain amount of time. I could never do it, got cross and stopped playing.

Must go back to it...

Re: Oolite for sale on ebay

Frontier already know about FFE D3D (the Russian re-make of First Encounters). They made a comment on their forums to the effect that it would leave a bad taste in everyone's mouth if they cracked down on it.

I'm guessing they feel the same way about Oolite.

Don't forget Doctor Who seems to be aimed at 5-year-olds these days :x

Er... ok...

I'd bought the MP3 album from Amazon for my wife and I was just checking that all the tracks had downloaded correctly.

Yes, that'll be it :D

Re: What do you listen to when playing?

Think I might have a candidate for the least suitable music to listen to whilst playing Oolite. For reasons I'd rather not discuss here, I had The Best of The Carpenters playing. It did strike me as slightly odd to have such songs as "Please Mr Postman", "Top Of The World" and &q...
