That's odd, is that purely a Linux thing then, cos i've not had probs. In fact, the route AI name was cut/pasted from another OXP way back when when i was first learning OXPing, so that OXP will not be working for you either (sorry, too far back to recall which one, now!) Please don't blame Linux, ...

Hello, I've succeed to have my first OXP working. I thank every body for the help. I can now fly with 'illicit vessels' which have no other interest than my curiosity. During the tests, I've got a weird thing : the change I've made don't take effect at the next reload of the game as there is a persi...

This is what I name a good recipe : Oolite has what amounts to a spell checker for shipdata.plist, called the OXP verifier. It can currently only be invoked from the command line. On Windows or Linux: oolite.app/oolite --verify-oxp <path to OXP> On Mac OS X: Oolite.app/Contents/MacOS/Oolite --verify...

The frequency of ships at shipyards is determined by the 'Chance' entry near the top of the shipyard.plist. This also determines the frequency of equipment fitted. The higher the number the more likely the ship is to appear. It is also dependent on Tech Level (near the bottom of the shipyard.plist)...

Debuging and qualifying my f... OXP

Hello, I am exploring the OXP world and made some tests with. My problem is to qualify the OXP. I've read many wiki entries and forums but don't found what I seek. There is an interesting debug.oxp, the logginf capacity of oolite itself, but not so well documented. I think experienced OXPers have so...

As the ubuntu is debian based, I think that the gnustep packages are the same on the two distros and the experimental debian package may be rebuilt on lucid with no modification. I am agree with you as this kind of operation is not so easy to handle for all users, unfortunally. The same may be done ...

I get the sources, built the package and update my system (Debian Testing). I get also the oolite 1.74.1 sources and built the debian packages and install it. I've played two ...

Thats great. Have added these links to the wiki, here . Have put the programs under the 3D applications, and the Filter Tools under Graphics Editors. Great Jahaz, but I would like to suggest one thing : Oolite isn't only free, it is opensource, licensed under the GPL. I think it is the reason why i...

Hello, There is a patch for phpbb2, and a guide to use recaptcha with php : http://recaptcha.net/plugins/php/ The idea about Elite ship isn't a good idea. The question/answer challenge is feeble in security point of view as only one identified question/answer is sufficient for a spammer. I may help ...

I can't simply do thing like this as my mother forbid it to me. :)
