Re: Writing.

The sheer horror I experienced upon Death failing to appear in Unseen Academicals cannot be expressed without making some words up.

Re: Your current employment in your Ooniverse

I went for taxi driver and bounty hunter, although that's because it's the closest thing to "Navy reservist" the list had.

The licence on the Griff Moray allows you to use it as you have described without explicit permission.

Re: Tales from the spacelanes...

Perhaps they're roaming alien comedians who are used to having much worse than tomatoes thrown at them.

Especially if you add little hatches over the spaces they'd be in. Auto-retracting turrets!

Re: auto changing MilHud(Switcher)

From my poking into the MilHUD's internals, the highest level of control in it appears to be a JS script, so it could be possible to pass some information over to the plists that actually specify each HUD outlay from it.

Re: Galactic Navy Strikes Back

Leading on from that suggestion, could the ability to become a career Navy pilot be added?

Re: Strange planet names

My understanding is that planet Arse was one of the examples of names that caused the galaxy they were in to be scrapped, not one that slipped under the radar. My (brief) sourcedives strongly indicate that Oolite's RNG is a precise recreation of the original, and I'm sure this has been confirmed els...

Re: So Navy Frigates are a bid hard then!

The rogue frigates you find when you're sent to flush out a pirate base for reserve missions have bounties of 5000Cr or more. The mismatch is a bit strange.

Re: Do you know your Star sign?

God, this smegging "story". It's utterly utterly utterly idiotic. The star signs have been wrong for ages, but it's being reported as if it's suddenly been revised, presumably because journalists are cretins who have no idea what they're going on about.
