As the textures used to be a low(er) resolution the windows tend to be large(r), so another option would be to make the window smaller :)

So I ran into a problem. One of the goals I set for myself with these 2.0 upgrades is to get any unique ship models looking like they can co-exist alongside the Griff models. I really like SDC for it's 'immersion', I use it to search for 'particular' ships ( follow ) and to look for ship destinations i can hitch a ride to...

I usually install oxz/oxps manual so that is not a problem, in time will look forward to a new version SDC-light... :)

Optical could work, shadertrickery from A_C, colorize, darkened, overlay.

But what should the engine show underwater, underwater stations? hmm...

So the 'white washing' of basic objects/ships ( objects/ships without a spec gloss map or without a custom shader ) is actually a feature from the improved LM system. ( self realization, duh )
