Many would argue that it is the best of all the core ships. Not quite as fast or nimble as a cobby, but still a great fighting machine. Big, yes, so easier to hit but tough as old boots.

Not all trades have to be made in a single jump!
This is one of the advantages of a bigger ship like the Boa Cruiser. You have the space to buy stuff really cheaply when you can, and just keep it for a while till you arrive at a planet with a high buying price.

a lot of the ships from the classic collection seem to shine with the new shader It seems to be amplifying the specular map. These textures were designed to 'glint'. Aha, yes this was released with only one texture for all four variants, partly because I have tried not to stray too far from Aegidian's original skins for the 'Classics'. No reason not to have a bit of variety though :) I'm glad you like the plating effect - the whole 'Classic Ships' suite has this...
