A little statistics of rock hermit markets (precious metal trade only), using SH 0.15: http://postimg.org/image/o8mdqj7yn/
Please compare to the fact that a single trade cycle with cobra 3 cargo (35TC) between poor agrarian and rich industrial main stations yields ~3000cr.

Re: [WIP] Spicy Hermits
Too easy to find yes and/or too frequent and/or not dangerous enough. Q-bomb detector+injectors with fuel recommended though. :P I've also seen an amazing miner hermit selling 63 platinum (in an anarchy though). Precious metal trade seems even more effective than with olde hermit markets. So perhaps...

Re: [WIP] Spicy Hermits
This is probably just personal preference, but my ooniverse shall contain only scientifically explainable things, so please don't include ghost ships in SH. (I'm planning to remove pirate cove and olde hermits in favour of this one once it's polished.)

Re: Parcel / passenger transport
Leading "aegis botherers" out of the station and police scanner range, shooting them to make them attack, and then heading back to the station to make them hit it is somewhat tedious but often comes with a great goodie: Once the criminals are fugitives (or offenders ?) they tend to do some...

I am required to log into "my account" when following that link. Presumably you have to use some "public" link rather than a "private" one.

Re: New version of my Fer-de-Lance 3G
The readme says
"Please see the PDF for the specifications of the '3G' ships."
but it is nowhere.
Also, there are sometimes several anti-sweeper missiles buyable in shipyards. It is unclear what the differences are between them, I suggest there should be only one version.

Re: [RELEASE] ILS Instrument Landing System v1.7
I installed this in order to speed up NPC docking and indeed it does; the injector equipped ships from Aquatics OXP are docking at breakneck speed and even the ones without injectors are docking faster. However, problems noticed: -If I got docking clearance, this is not respected by any NPC that has...

Re: Parcel (and cargo) sorting in the manifest screen
Btw what I'm always wondering is how much time the route planner dedicates to each system when calculating the estimated time to arrive (in addition to that time which the jumps need). E.g. you dock with a hermit, some OXP station and the main station. 30 min. You buy fuel at two of those. More than...

Re: Parcel (and cargo) sorting in the manifest screen
Wouldn't be of much use, since a contract that has more time left but with a far destination can be tighter than another one with little time left but the destination close by. You'd have to order by the difference between time left and estimated time to arrive or their ratio, but then, how exactly ...

Re: Tales from the spacelanes...
I just discovered that assassins attack any escape capsule, rather than just the capsule of their target. I made a python pirate eject and a lone assassin was around who seemed too scared for attacking me. Normally I don't scoop escape capsules as it's not worth to drop cargo to have the space free,...

It seems your last version did the job. I don't seem to get that infinite loop (?) or those hangs anymore.

Re: [WIP] Spicy Hermits
if someone started shooting-up the hermit Commander Rockingham is based at, there'd be trouble! You are auto-launched from a base if it is destroyed while you are docked. It happened recently to me while docked at a pirate cove. Outside was a Navy Class Carrier, the cove went down almost instantly....

Re: [WIP] Spicy Hermits
I regularly destroy those pirate coves that have been added by the system populator as a rock hermit. Pirate coves have the same energy as a hermit. About 1 and a half overheated laser is enough, if previously cool. Once destroyed, jumped out and jumped in again they are there again and tend to be n...
