Re: Broken OXZs and OXZ Manager

This is one reason we always recommend adding Expansions slowly, one by one. To gve players a chance to get used to them and weed out those they don't actually want, or broken ones. I understand, but doing the 1 by 1 would take more than a year trying out if playing with a new one every single day,...

Re: Docking fees revisited

I really like this addon. Great texts and good for immersion. A thing that would take it to the roof would be BGS type images. Since its sort of a welcome screen (and all the BGS images are similar despite different stations), I think adding different type images for different type stations would be...

Re: Broken OXZs and OXZ Manager

Being reasonably new here, I still remember installing mods after mods, only to realize that modX was broken, or modY did have some "extra" effect not described, which made it really hard to track down. There are more than 300 addons alone in the manager. It literally took me weeks to figu...

Re: Fuel injectors

When the limit for entities was reached, lasers no longer appeared when fired, though they still seemed to work invisibly-- sound effects and damage to other ships. Once I stopped using Engine Trails, the problem vanished. @Devs: how about removing this addon from the manager? I think if somebody w...

Joypad hats/joystick up/down/left/right menu

As a joypad user, it would be really nice if the hats could be configured for use in menus and a button could be configured for Return/Enter.

Re: [Release] Trails v1.1

Looks nice and thanks for the credits :D I have some suggestions, though not sure if all is possible (but you kinda did some with Escortdeck) : 1) Speed = Length. The faster a ship flies the longer the trail. (Which means by 0 speed only finishing trail appears). Could be either 1 Lenght = 1/10th sp...

Re: [Release] Trails v1.0

I'm loving this mod. No longer :"hey! on radar there is ship. But where is it???" Did a few changes to make it less heavy on the resources and (imho) more "natural" looking. Only problem is Trail not disappearing when ship is stopped. If it somehow could be connected to speed, th...

Re: [Release] Trails v1.0

quite low fps, unfortunately I can't tell you a number, as I don't know how to find that number Shift+F Mkay... external view from outside front to back, station in the background, half speed, 5 escorts behind me Without trails: around 180fps With trails: around 18fps I don't know what the re...

Re: [Release] Trails v1.0

The pictures looks amazing. Can't wait to try it out. :o

edit :
Tried it. Went from 100+ FPS to around 10-15 FPS.
Also the trails would sometimes disappear and then start again, while others would start a long way behind the ships.

Looks good though.

Re: [RELEASE] New Cargoes OXP (1.2.3 released 9 February 201

You're welcome to make and release any changes you like in your own OXPs. Thanks :D Actually I thought the earnings were higher, which was why the Export/Import was "hidden away". Did an AI (computers) run, that would prolly have given more if it was "Standard" computers than Sp...

Re: Multible forward gunmounts and missile pylons

Ok, here 's a quick attempt I made to implement the idea on a modified Iguana. It only works on Oolite 1.81 (though a version could be made for earlier versions) and is still quite buggy (the guns fall off in witchspace!) But I think it serves to demonstrate the concept. If I can squash a few of th...

Re: [RELEASE] New Cargoes OXP (1.2.3 released 9 February 201

Well, I managed to do it myself ( pads self on shoulder, knowingly that most of you guys consider this equals a 2+2=4 equation ) http://i.imgur.com/qSWfJFU.png I made an Export only and an Export/Import. The first is what I consider most canon to original mod. I consider uploading as an addon to the...

Re: [Release] Stations for Extra Planets

Nice :-) I would really love it if, on arrival to system, a message (coms?) popped up saying something like "bring the passenger/cargo/parcel to xxx station for a bonus fee" ;-) That would imho make these stations much more visited. Btw, they seem to work fine on 1.81+ where the kiota stat...

Re: Choosing an OS

Problem is they rarely help. Arma 2 (and prolly 3 too) had an MP anti-cheat software too (though less intrusive than punkbuster) and it was constantly hacked, until a point where I just gave up playing it (single player is present in arma, just not very fun).
