Yep these were done the hard way, all in one shape. No overlapping, no gaps, the line just starts at a point (A) on the outside of the shape, goes round the outside of the shape, back to point A, Skips to a point (B) on the inside of the shape, goes round the inside to create a hole, back to point B...

If you find that a quick key press is still too slow, you could try using the TAF (time acceleration factor) function. Also beware of the yellow border from having the icon selected.

I had a few months off oolite and when I came back I'd forgotten what I'd loaded my pylons with, so I played arround a little and came up with these. Any guesses?

perhaps instead of "if all the ships are roundish" I should have said "if I make all the ships roundish"? I realise the most of the basic ships aren't round, (its not just the flight model that's "aeroplanes in space" :) ) this was just something I got to thinking about...
