Re: Confusing?

Well, I'm planning to write it this summer. Two whole months... hmmm, I should be able to write some. Then again, I may just stare at the screen deleting sentences over and over...

Re: Whiling Away The Days

Aim high and take a hammer - for all those glass ceilings :D You forgot the umbrella- I wouldn't want to cut myself with all the glass pieces. Well, I just finished my Physics exam, and I'm pretty sure I did good. Is it ridiculous that I think I did better on the exam than most of the tests? ...

Still it would make a good situation for a short story.
That's why I was asking. If it's possible, no matter how, I could place it into a story. I've been thinking of one, and it's pretty good sitting in my head. Unfortunately, whenever I write it doesn't come out good. Maybe I'll try someday...

Confusing?

Here's a theoretical question (it may be a might confusing): If two ships were in two systems close to one another, like 4 light years apart, and both ships programmed their next destination as the other system, and they each decided to witchjump at the same time, and by some sort of coincidence bot...

Re: Whiling Away The Days

<sniffing> Aaw, you guys! :D Fingers crossed - here's looking to the future :) And as for that, it looks a bit uncertain as I really don't know what I'd like to do. I was thinking of maybe becoming a librarian, as I love books and libraries. Since I have high marks in all my subjects I could pretty ...

Re: Whiling Away The Days

Thanks for your support, ClymAngus. :D Pretty hopeful that I'll get high eighties or early nineties, because I can't be perfect, eh?

Whiling Away The Days

Ahhh..... exam review weeks. Nothing to do except fry your brain... you gotta love 'em. I appreciate the teachers giving us this long to review, but I only study the day before the exam. I find the information stays more fresh that way. Speaking of exams, I have a rather mild week next week, followe...

Re: Weather

Good news, y'all! Finally managed to download all the OXPs I once had. :D The temperature is just going crazy here, plus 30 one day and plus 10 the next. Me, I prefer the mid to high teens as I'm not much for heat. The only thing is, I guess I'm going to have to get used to heat. Apparently we're mo...

Re: Weather

Being so north, what is considered as normal for this period? I actually don't live that far north. :) I immediately thought of the big lakes, which led to this old song. Actually, I live on the eastern side of Lake Manitoba in a puny town called St. Laurent. Answering Getafix's question, I'd guess...

Weather

You would not believe the weather we're having! During May long, we had about two inches of rain. Woke up on Monday and there was like two inches of snow on the ground. Melted by noon, though the temperature stayed a bit above freezing. This week, low to mid-twenties!

Only in Manitoba....

Re: Do You Ever Have This Problem?

Also word of warning, watch your 6. Nothing annoys the disruptive more than seeing the gap between themselves and "good" students. They will try to make you more like them. DON'T let them. I had disruptive classes last time I saw the disruptive ones, they were mid-30's and still shelf sta...

Re: Do You Ever Have This Problem?

Invite the teacher to teach. :) It would be nice if my teacher actually cared, but I'm pretty sure she doesn't. She's been teaching at our school for about twenty years, and is probably sick and tired dealing with more and more disrespectful and lazy kids. I don't really agree with them saying I'm ...

Do You Ever Have This Problem?

Has someone ever told you to not participate in something because you're too good at it? My English teacher recently told me. We were to play a trivia game by translating Latin root words, and she specifically told me not to guess. It hurts, that since the population of my school is considered non-i...

Re: Empty polling station - UK election 2015

And Democracies? There's never been one. All "Democracies" are, are thinly disguised Oligarchies, where dog-and-pony shows elections are held now and then to give the people the illusion that they get to have a say. But the same hands continue to steer the ship, regardless of who "wi...

Thanks for your concern, guys. Just gonna have to go and copy every single darn thing if it's the last thing I do (which I hope it's not). :)
