I've noticed my frame-rate drops to 4fps while viewing that page, even after increasing my CPU speed. I always assumed it was the Market Observer OXP that was somehow responsible. I haven't checked it without it though.

Re: Where'd my 2TC go?
This one also had me mystified when I switched to the OXZ version of it, because the previous OXP version I had been using didn't actually *have* a cargo space requirement. I eventually found it only by trawling through the equipment plists in each installed OXP to see which piece of equipment was r...

Re: User tags for expansions
User tagging is an interesting concept but I can see some potential problems... One of the issues with such a system as I see it is that if you allow a user to enter arbitrary tags you're likely to see lots of variation in the tag names, which will make them less useful. For example I can easily pic...

Perhaps it seems odd to say it but I'm really glad to see non-porn chapter.Paradox wrote:
It did seem kind of odd though to see TL11 referred to as "low tech level".

Re: Proposal for 1.82: support for economic changes
Going by the posts in various discussions over the years, loads of them.. but most would probably not make use of the Trading Assistant/Autotrade OXPs anyway. Certainly I haven't.. largely out of concern that it might inadvertently mess with my contract goods. Same here. Well, the images and discus...

Just wanted to let you know I'm still reading and enjoying the story.
I don't suppose you have a floor plan handy for the snake charmer?

Re: Proposal for 1.82: support for economic changes
It's a bit wordy still - any suggestions on a shorter but still clear way to express "import only", "export only" and "restricted"? I'd like to make that column narrower if possible. Personally I think the best way is to just highlight anything that's not completely le...

Re: [RELEASE} Smart HUD
It should be possible to position the MFDs relative to the edge of the screen, (preferably up against said edge) that we way they'll be in the right positions regardless of the actual screen width. The relevant code can be found in Dizzy's OXP tweaking thread IIRC in the posts discussing MFDs in Num...

After not successfull attempt to continue development Bounty Scaner: https://bb.oolite.space/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4933&p=226749#p224601 I created Bounty Informer OXZ (original code not used). http://wiki.alioth.net/index.php/Bounty_Informer_OXP Any critic and suggestions - welcome. So what d...

Re: [Solved] WARNING: Timer <OOJSTimer
12 Hours in to game play using 32 bit 1.80 ..No crashes. I can only conclude that despite having a 64 bit OS, the AMD Radeon HD 8330 is not up to the job for the 64 bit version of Oolite 1.80. Actually I would say the only conclusion you can come to is that something in the 64 bit version of Oolite...

Re: Progress
Any chance of making it possible for an OXP to specify a sort order? I use Market Observer OXP and I'd love it if it could sort by profit margin.

While you're working on that side of things... any chance of adding colour coding based on legality?
It would be nice if items that would get you a price on your head just for launching with them were made to stand out somehow.

Re: Working all the live long day
Would the Vacuum_Pump OXZ also be useful for miners or does scooping splinters not use a cargo pod per splinter that contains valuable minerals ? That was part of the original intention actually, that in combination with the ore processor it would be quite useful... that said, it seems precious met...

Re: Working all the live long day
I think that would be a good idea. I think the random success factor makes it not worth bothering with the scanning feature at all.spara wrote:And here's the question, is the random success factor in scanning futile? I could up the energy use a bit and make it a 100% accurate.
