A quick check would suggest it's possibly the shipdata.plist in that OXP that's the culprit. It was produced before Griff's shipsets were released. I have found my problem. I cant use the german translation OoliteGerman_V0.3.oxp.
After deleting it works fine.

If I use Griff_Shipset_Addition_v1.23.oxp i can edit <key>ship_desc</key> <string>cobra3-player</string> to <key>ship_desc</key> <string>griff_normalmapped_cobra_mkIII_scuffed_player</string> to have the new textures. I have installed Griff_Shipset_Resources_v1.2.25.oxp and Griff_Shipset_Addition_v1.23.oxp.
All textures of the ships will be changed but not the startscreen and my own ship ingame?

What am I doing wrong?
