[Solved] Changing folder locations...

Hi all, I'd like to know if it's possible to change the folder locations of AddOns and oolite-saves to another location on another drive? The reason is I run Oolite on XP and Win7, both using the same location on a separate drive (that way whichever Windows version I'm on I always have the latest 's...

I'm running Oolite Trunk 1.75.2 (4509) on Ubuntu 10.10 x64 (strangely trunk is the only version I could get to run on this distro...)...

I have been doing this game a quiet disservice. I also saw the weird 'squares' in space, and just assumed that these appeared 'as designed'. "A bit odd," I thought, "but it's probably the best that can be done (this is a free game, after all). Perhaps it's just a stylistic evocation ...

Thanks for every-one's replies, updated the graphics drivers (Nvidia Quadro NVS, not N79...information overload methinks ;o) ) and the game works a treat (in fact better than before on my other machines) bringing a new lease of life (and an irate girlfriend... ;o) ).

Thanks for your reply, tried it but it didn't work, the splash screen is now gone but still no text, for example where it asks you 'Load previous Commander (Y/N)?' is just a filled in graphical block...

No graphical text (solved)

Hi there, recently I installed 1.73.4 on a HP XW8000 (twin zeons, 2GB ram Nvidia N79 graphics) but where the text should be is all blocked graphics, 1.65 works fine, but then I can't use most the oxps...any-one have any ideas? Is there anywhere I can get a lower build, for instance 1.72 etc? Cheers ...
