Thank you for advice. I have no problem gunning down a Black Monks gunship (or even cruiser)... but those Cobras with multi-coloured lasers and are incredibly strong.
I've already found the OXP where such ships are coming from -- this is Renegades 3.0 OXP.

Yes, some NPCs are too strong, especially the ships with three-coloured front laser. I've just been attacked by Cobra Mk.3, which managed to destroy my fully upgraded ship in no time. Also, the E.C.M. system is pretty useless against red missiles fired by such ships. Adding such powerful opponents w...

I agree. IIRC, the MS-DOS version of Elite had boxes when docking to the station.pagroove wrote:Actually it would be even nicer if the station launch sequence has boxes instead of circles to simulate you fly out of the station. Don't know if that's possible though. I'm happy with the recent changes.

Thank you, guys. Last night I installed the latest version of Oolite and successfully completed the Constrictor mission. Also, I fixed the Assassins script using instructions posted by Ahruman. It seems like most error messages were caused by this script: [log.header]: Opening log for Oolite version...

I’m Level 1 Customer Support (which means I know virtually nothing). Thanks for the quick reply, anyway :) . I've just noticed that version of Oolite I'm currently using is 1.73. 3 ... Constrictor mission bug
At some point, I was given a mission to find a stolen Constrictor. But due to some in-game or OXP bug, the exact 'last seen' location was not specified, showing '%036' instead of planet name. Please help me to resolve this issue. Screenshot and start-up log included. http://img199.imageshack.us/img1...

Cargo scanner
First, I'd like to thank everyone involved in creating the best Elite clone ever. Here's my idea: a scanning device for shipping cargo. I think the detailed information on shipment isn't necessary. Such device may simply show the cargo status of target ship - 'empty', 'half-loaded', 'fully loaded' o...
