Re: Elite: Dangerous - and Thargoids?
Is that definitely a Thargoid? I sort of got the impression it was a different alien species (The Guardians, or something) but wasn't paying much attention so may have confused it with something else.

Re: Split: Re-scaling experiment
It might be best if Redspear merged any work he's done into the branch before the pull request gets merged - it might make it easier to sort out any merge conflicts that occur if we do it that way round.

Re: Trunk nightly
Which version of the workaround is that? We went through quite a few!
I'd use the one in branch issue_204_v3 - are you using the same one?

Re: Converter tools. Unnormalized normal errors in current git download
668 warnings?!? I suspect something's gone awry with the normal generation when exporting the model.

Re: Converter tools. Unnormalized normal errors in current git download
You've got a zero length normal in your data somewhere, which isn't normal (sorry.) I've just pushed a version of Obj2DatTexNorm.py which should cope with this - it's on the zero-normals branch on the github repo and should work if you use the --accept-zero-normals flag. Let me know if it works so I...

Re: F6 chart stuff...
I've added it, but I've put it on the line below to stop the existing line getting too cluttered. I'm not sure it looks right where it is, though.

Re: Wierdness with 'quotes' in BB posts
When I'm 'quoting' a previous post the member's name (so and so wrote...) is not appearing. Instead the text box is showing an ID etc as well as the name, and even manually going to the correct format [Quote="MembersName"] isn't working. It just says 'Quote' when posted. Is anybody else g...

Re: Split: Applying github patch problems
If you're struggling with patches, here's an alternative. Assuming the remote name of the Oolite repo is 'origin' (it is unless you're using your own fork), run the command git checkout origin/master and then git merge origin/two_pass_planet_slice You may be taken into a text editor to record a comm...

Re: Assign function keys to prime equipment
That's a good idea - if we use morse then we'll never run out of keys. We'd just have to learn the morse for things like "shoot", "jink left" and "target incoming missile. No, not that one, the other one."
