I don't really understand what OSE is. I am sorry that you feel less enthusiastic about contributing things because your stuff was pretty cool. I will ahve to go look up what OSE is. I like the ability to add some OXPs and not others, so one OXP that has everything would not be that appealing to me.

He was gone real quick and that was the best guarded witchpoint this side of Reidquat

Add Black Monks oxp. even if you never use the bank itself, it adds stuff you say you like.
More ships calling out for help as the loan enforcers from the bank come after them and tough ships to fight.

Try playing in a window instead of full screen, sometimes that works,
if not try it the other way.

The Missles oxp has a piece of equipment that does this. It's called a distress beacon and is fired like a missle and 'contacts the nearest base for help'

Out on a joyride last night with my Caduceus, a number of dogfights ended with a ship crashing into me. (space bar moments). Now I was trying to pass them close so the turrets could get a shot as they passed by, but the number of times I died by collision was far more than I was used to.

How do you shift-launch. I play OOlite on a Ubuntu box. I launch it by choosing it from the application menu . Do I press shift while clicking it on the menu.
