High tech planets (about tech level 10 or higher) will have a Black Monk Monastery, which is a bank. If you have the Advanced Space Compass, you can use the '\' key to cyle through different 'compass points', The bank will be marked with a 'B' on the compass.. Approached from the witchpoint side, it...

Black Monk banks invunerable?

Are Black Monk banks invunerable ?
I have tried taking them out with a quirium mine, a cascade missile (missile and bomb OXP) and a quirium nuke from the nukes OXP. None of them seem to affect it.

Wow,

in a weird way, it kinda points to how people share a lot in common. Pirates support municipal functions like a hospital and everyone wants in on the profit.

I'm wondering what else the women got in the divorce settlement.

It does sound like plasma turrets would fit your requirement. I would love to be able to put a plasma cannon (if not a turret) on a ship that doesn't have one, simply to see how it does

I don't know exactly, since I don't remember seeing one. Go for 13 or 14. Or look for a Navy ship that you can dock with.

Lessons I have learned as a non-coder A license isn't simply some junk that MS makes you wade through (or more likely click through and ignore) A license is a good way of explaining in advance how you expect others to treat your product If you aren't sure what the license says (and maybe even if you...

With collision it can happen the ship was either before or behind the RH during frame update so the collision detection never triggered. Not falling out of jump mode is deliberate as a RH it just a rock according to your jump computer. As someone who did collide into an RH at one point, I have to s...

Re: Newbie too.

It is also funny that You can sell narcotics to any base in Oolite, just can't take them out of the base. Another funny nuisance, You can pick up slaves from the void of space and You don't even need a passenger Berth. I mean, come on. How many deleted by moderator makes a tonne of slaves :D -secto...

Happy Thanksgiving!

I know a number of you may not celebrate Thanksgiving, but wanted to post the greeting nonetheless. Among the things I am thankful for are the people who wrote Oolite simply for their own and other's enjoyment and the active group of players, programmers and contributors to the board. :) http://en.w...

As long as it knows where it is going. I thought that was the way it worked, but after a while given the situation, I began to wonder if I had reade the Read Me wrong and it's AI simply kept it close to me while I needed to know where the dredger was. Thanks for the OXP. :) I have yet to actually se...

So what happens if a salvage missile hits a ship that is not officially a derelict?

How do Dredgers work?

I have the Dredgers 2.2.3 OXP. I did something that might be unorthodox. I was fighting a llama and it had the sparky exhaust starting to come out, I turned my attention quickly to an other ship, When I can back to it, the llama was just floating aimlessly in space. Although it didn't say 'derelict'...
