Re: [Beta Release] oolite.oxp.Zafrusteria.ShrewsRights.oxz
Just now I came across this thread. I haven't tried the OXP, but I like the imagination. Shrews' rights! Excellent! And adverts on the wonderful YAH (on which recently - but not first the first time - I saw some stuff that made me laugh).

Re: [RELEASE:] Interstellar Tweak OXP
Thank you, and oops; sorry. New version uploaded. EDIT: I add that this the latest version of the OXP fixes a couple of small bugs (not just the one owing to the missing semi-colon); I cleaned up some code a little too, and made some very minor adjustments to what the OXP does. Further EDIT: the new...

Re: [RELEASE:] Interstellar Tweak OXP
Thanks, phkb. New version - version 6.97 - uploaded. Must we now then ping you on every OXP update?

Re: [RELEASE:] Interstellar Tweak OXP
Also - and hopefully finally - I can't find the website where one uploads one manifest. This doc says the URL is http://www.oolite.org/oxps/, but that gives a 404.

Thanks!
Re opening the editor: well, Linux and presumably Mac have the concept of a default editor, so I don't understand.

Re: [RELEASE:] Interstellar Tweak OXP
Thanks, as ever, Another Commander. Here are two follow-up questions. 1) May I without consequence simply delete the GNUstep directory that lies within the OXP? What is that directory doing / meant to do, anyway? 2) Why hardcode a call to a particular editor? Can't one (somehow) tell the operating s...

Re: [RELEASE:] Interstellar Tweak OXP
Thanks, both. I had forgotten about the need for a 'test' release. Can anyone advise on whether I ought to do something in response to the following output from the verifier? 12:50:43.586 Scanning files 12:50:43.589 ----- WARNING: "GNUstep/Defaults" is a nested directory, ignoring. 12:50:4...

Re: [RELEASE:] Interstellar Tweak OXP
Hmm. I am unsure why I felt the need to define over twenty versions of military Ferdy-three-Gs. The numbering of them is somewhat crazy too. I've made that numbering system saner whilst I was fixing the semi-colon error. (I think that nothing in my code relied on the particular names for those ships...

Re: [RELEASE:] Interstellar Tweak OXP
Hi Cholmondely
Things are alright here in the East, thank you! I hope that you too are well.
Thank you for spotting the error. I will upload the fixed version soon - probably tomorrow. Bloomin' semi-colons!

Re: [UPDATED RELEASE] - Breakable 'Standard' Equipment OXPs.
Thanks, phkb. I did not have the Loadout by Category OXP installed, though, now, I am giving it a try. I tried to do more testing - by moving from my present TL 13 planet to another planet with a different TL. But I witchspaced straight into the sun. I think I wrote the OXP that allows that. Dammit!...

Re: Save file is 216KB!
Cholmondely: that's good to know; thanks. Weren't Elite's planet names derived in a similar, pseudo-random fashion? Perhaps I misremember,

Re: [UPDATED RELEASE] - Breakable 'Standard' Equipment OXPs.
I'll necro this thread, because I've a problem related to one of the OXPs at issue, namely, 'BreakableEnergyUnit'. My energy unit shows as 'Core energy unit - N/A'. I'm docked at a planet with TL of 13 - but I see no option to repair the unit. Bug?

Aha.
I had to reacquaint myself with the 'Hunting Lodge'. Well, I say that, but this page gives little away about the actual gameplay!

Save file is 216KB!
I have posted the file here . The main contributors to the size seem to be these keys: mission_EmailSystem_Emails , which owes, I suppose, to oolite.oxp.phkb.EmailSystem; mission_Smuggling_IllegalGoods , and some other 'Smuggling' keys - all of which, I suppose, owe to 'phkb.Smugglers_TGU'; mission_...

'Inside' small ships?
Did you check out my Ferdies? The page that I linked above has a table that lists cargo capacity, for one thing.
