Well, the only thing left to download is an executable.
Is it compressed?

Re: Why is Oolite so addictive?
Confined... is a good description. I was thinking of the "lack of life", myself. In my opinion, Evochron is probably the second best flight sim available as I still play that one. Even with the amazing graphics and ship configurations, there is still a lack of personality in a lot of games...

Why is Oolite so addictive?
Not to get philosophical on everybody, but it is a valid question. I've spent quite a bit of money on space sims; Freespace, X3, Evochron, Freelancer, Vendetta, Eve to name a few. I've also messed around with several variants of open source variations. I always seem to come back to Oolite when I hav...

What's up with being Hacked?
Nearly all my clients have been hacked within the last six months. It's getting out of hand. There's too many people out of work with too much time on their hands.
FYI, the hack occurred just not too long before I posted this. Not sure of the time stamp helps.

Also, asteroids (or, in fact, any objects) that far out are not generated by Oolite when you enter the system. So indeed in your case there must be an OXP responsible. May be DSP, Eric will know more about it. And of course they were created right in your path, otherwise you wouldn't have found the...

I wasn't thinking multi-player at all. What I was proposing was just an in-game chat feature that one could purchase in-game, install on the ship and turn on/off like the radio mod. Just think about it as ET phoning home. :) The OXP would run an http query (JSON) every second that would poll a mysql...

ShortWave Com System Mod
I'm just collecting my thoughts on the first mod I'd like to try to build. I still have to go through the threads and familiarize myself the moding details, so this is just a concept thread. Has anyone suggested building a ShortWave Radio that would allow people with an Internet connection to chat i...
