Here I've matched up a red-hued version of the cloud image to the planet's air color. It does look better when they match. By 1:30 in the video, there's a strong sense that the player is no longer in space I think: approx 30 seconds in - apparent darkening of some areas of the texture approx 50 sec...

I watched both videos. And got also confused why the marker would move over the planet surface. In the beginning it is not aligned with the ship's nose, so it cannot be the trajectory. There's rotation_speed_factor in planetinfo.plist.

If used as a universal setting then it could be done easily enough but then how much is too much likely depends on the player.

Combine this with Market Quantity randomness and The Player may not be able to fill their Cargo Hold in that specific system. So maybe there IS a market BUT it's prices match the main station. Player then has access to more of whatever they're buying but without an in-system exploit?... Bit harder ...
