Those scripts do pretty much what they're named for: convert Oolite's .dat to obj and so on.. You can find them by the link in first post.
As for the python, well, can't guess anything but this

Wow, thanks, another_commander , how could I forget about this great resource?.. (though the whole life there seems to be concentrated around X Universe :D ) Oh, there seem to be links there leading to these boards and to oolite.org and to berlios and to wiki... And there's already 'their' version o...

Yeah, I know this. Many people just haven't the time to read/post in the middle of week. Still, even if it suddenly proves to be that I'm the only Russian player (wow), well, I did this not for some kind of recognition or something. Oolite is a great game and I see that more and more people start pl...

Hmm, as to this kind of thing, when an OXP overrides another... It may have already been discussed somewhere, but is there a way that an OXP can check for another OXP presence? I mean, for people to be able to make multilingual OXPs (if they add new missions or just some strings, etc.) and choose ap...

Oolite Russian translation
I've finished current translation of Oolite into Russian, everyone who's interested can grab it here . I've translated GUI, planet info (it has some glitches but I'll try to work them out), standard mission texts and some object names like Boulders or Astedoids. I've left ship and station names in E...

Silly me, should have used search better... I found this discussion and dowloaded files provided by Ahruman. The text started to appear readable with cyrillic characters, though there are troubles with character widths, but that won't prove to be much of a problem I foresee.

DaddyHoggy , thanks, I'm really glad being here :-) SwissMäc , yeah, I took that one too, but I think it'd be easier for me to take default files from Resources as a reference, since I don't actually know Italian language :-) . The structure seems pretty obvious, but there are still some questions ...

First things first, hearty greetings to all! I've been playing Oolite for months (alas having idle periods), and been reading these boards also and I, well, to be honest, just love you guys! The game is wonderful and the way you live in it, tell about it, write stories, backgrounds is none the less....
