They're all possible, but how do you ensure that dumb missiles blow up before they go too far? If you miss, they could hurt some innocent bystander. I couldn't do this myself, as I can't make models that are any good. Don't even ask me to think about making textures. The rest would be fairly trivia...

Doesn't take too much time, does it? Just wish I knew somewhere that referred to any problems or OXP compatiblity issues.

Maybe the "complex" build instructions should be either revised or obsoleted altogether. The new build does not expect any changes in folder structure and if this happens then either something is wrong with the instructions or something was not done in the correct matter. 1.73 will not be...

I think it's key adventages are it's open source, and is designed to sustain a wider veriety then most programs. What files do I put the model in? If you have followed the link above you should have python installed. Create a folder of your choosing and copy the files dat2obj.py, obj2dat.pf and the...

So I loaded a program that showed the file content as hex-code and I noticed that the simple text-editor that ships with OSX does indeed use LF only as line endings. (Same does the mac plist editor) And as 90% of my uploads was saved with one of those two, and nobody complained about my earlier upl...

Thanks!
I tried Blender a while back. Not sure what advantages it has over Wings. It would be interesting to see how you get on.

Have any Mac users got 3.5 to work? Tivva PMed my his log file and oddly Ooolite it not reporting any errors. I can tell from his screenie that his Mac is refusing to read the descriptions.plist. I had written quite a lot of the descriptions in word (for spell check purposes!) and then C&Ped in...

Sorry, didn't spot that. Just that I've recommended this editor before so I don't want to be seen to be pushing it too much. It is, however, designed to work on windoze, mac and Linux, including formatting issues. :D

That's just annoying then. There's no in-game explanation for their existence and I don't like that. Adding one would enhance immersion and make the mission more interesting. Thoughts? Fine, I'd almost forgotten these because I spent so much time hunting Kurtz. Messages at stations or radio message...

Nemoricus, I have previously recommended Scite on windoze. Its got line numbers, will show end of line CR, LF etc and can change it, I originally broke some scripts by adding CRLF to scripts which had previously contained only LF. It can also be easily customised to support different languages for h...
