Re: A new Aussie flag
I quite like the Northern Territory flag. http://www.flagsonline.net/austimages/a13_large.gif Generally though I can't see the point of changing flags or even having them at all. I view things as they are, without regard to place or person; my country is the world http://www.goodreads.com/author/quo...

Re: Screenshots
Thanks for the comments. I'll put some screenshots later. There had never been any problem placing remote objects had there? I'd experimented with objects several light hours away (where the sun is invisible due to distance) and there were no problems at all. But there's not much point doing that of...

Re: Screenshots
I'm pretty sure that Farsun does not work with Oolite 1.80 (there are alternatives, but they do more than simply adjust the sun distance, I think). OK. I've added a number of Kuiper Belt Objects at strategic stars in all galaxies. These do not have nav. beacons and are reached by aligning either th...

Re: Screenshots
Is farsun OXP still available? I've got Oolite 1.80 running on OS-X 10.10 and but my version of farsun doesn't have any effect (on Zaonce). The wiki page won't open and it's not listed in the OXP list. The casino transferred across OK though.

Re: Scale of the Universe
That is lovely - was there a typo at about the micron level (pm twice)? Thanks for sharingDaddyHoggy wrote:Beautiful site - wouldn't work as the scale of the Ooniverse of course (although that would be amusing...)

HERETIC that I am, when engaging in OXP missions that add stations, I experimentally edit the commodities market plist to insanely elevate slightly alter the price for Thatgons. This is not cheating because I can't get the prices to vary very much, and because I'm not usually scooping anything duri...

The game generates its characteristic names from the initial seed, I glean, so perhaps it could be persuaded to generate names for each galaxy, or sector. At present Lave is in galaxy 1, sector 2 (presumably). The NavySectorCommandStation is at Orrere (for sector 2). A file surrounded by a fruit-cak...
