- npcs don't seem to follow players through witchspace They do! The AI send a special message when a target creates a wormhole. Pirates are scripted to follow a player through a wormhole while in the attack state. And yes, this is the only script I know of that checks this message (Maybe random hit...

Star Waka Ships Pack Originally just these two ships ... http://www.hbclinux.net.nz/oolite/t2poster.jpg Basically - I couldn't sleep. The OXP is out - comment on where such ships can fit will be welcome. Including a good price and role. Basically they look like iron-ass ships to me... something I s...

Heh - I've finally figured out that when NPCs activate their witchdrives, a wormhole appears. This lets everyone dive through. Welcome to the club! I note - players do not make wormholes, they get a countdown. - sensor-lock is not possible on a wormhole. - players cannot tell where a ship ju...

An honest traders strategy guide?
MS Discovered in an otherwise empty escape pod: -------------------------------------------------------------------- Getting your cargo to port fastest is the secret to making a killing in commodities. However, the need for speed is tempered by some down-home realities. Sadly, we live in a ooniverse...

Heh - I've finally figured out that when NPCs activate their witchdrives, a wormhole appears. This lets everyone dive through. Technically this explains why npcs seldom attempt to flee by engaging their witchdrives - the hostiles can just follow for free, giving them a fuel advantage. Still, hit hyp...

Re: Would a linux config script help with builds?
5. make install That bit should really be done by running the autopackage ... How does autopackage fair with heavily managed distros like Ubuntu? Still... fair comment. I still think that the make -f lines are properly run from the makefile in the event that linux is detected... i.e. the config scr...

Similarly - you liked the Vipers? I called them Viper IIIs for a reason (there are already two viper models) and they work well alongside the others. They also provide a note of continuity with the other police ships out there. They are bigger and more robust than the original vipers - to take the h...

I started replacing ships when I decided I didn't like some of the models. many of the classic ships don't fit the styles of the replacements - however, none of the oxps use the same names in the shipdata, so they all run alongside the existing vessels quite happily. When I was still trying my wings...

I've done this before - but I suspect something has changed with intrepid. I'm investigating, but here is the last part of the make process... http://www.hbclinux.net.nz/oolite/typhoons.jpg Typhoon Class This ship is what I'm replacing the Python with in my Ooniverse. However, it got somewhat warped in my quest for originality. Currently working to upgrade to shaders - the partial oxp here should provide a good variety. Consider it versio...

Great - still not updated the oxp online, but shall submit one to the wiki will all the proper knobs on. Conceptual change - the cargo is set to 5TC with a possible +4 with an expanded cargo hold (there is an unused 2TC in each nacelle ;) ) The idea is that the rich kids can have lux accomodation if...

Realistic Shipyards looks great - just about worth ressurecting the canon ships for ;) How much interest is there in all those ship designs which I have replacing the original ships? Most are little more than different models and a couple have weird irregularities - like, cannot figure why the flash...

It often happens that I'll post something which is puzzling me, and soon after I discover what it was. However - one should still reply, you may have different ideas about it to me ;) That is such a small change, I'll upload it when I have a bigger change to go with it. Meantime, it's easy enough to...
