Thanks for that - there is an update to the neolite core coming up when I add the latest models and skins. So that version no should go up to 1.1

How did this get on?

Note: I have happily used a kill-bill vol2 poster for a personal ship skin :) though we probably cannot do that officially.

I want to encourage variations to neolite ships, so I put the resources in the wiki:

For my part, I tend to restrict oxps to the ones that will actually show up and do something where I am at. No galaxy 6 oxps while I'm pottering around galaxy 1. Lots of oxps slow down the loading. Right now I am running mainly the neolite ships oxps - (I have to reload a lot). And there is a wiki p...

Re: MilHUD v3 final

MilHUD v3 on a Neolite Cobra 3. The light grey bar at the bottom is the Cobby's nose section and not part of the HUD. Which I have finally been pursuaded to nix. Move the cobbie fwd viewpoint forward by a couple of meters. I don't know the fight controls for yaw - but this plist should make a good ...

This one is for ark: http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt68/Simon_Bridge/dock-pattern.png ... the interior of the dock has been redone with the same "weathered" pattern as the outside of the coriolis. That may be all that is needed. Possible is to add the winged design to the back wall (o...

Re: ...

 I like the neolite Happy Eye Preacher better than the old one. This has been represented to me before :) Seriously, if the overwriting of ships according to load order would include subentities, this wouldn't happen. It also wouldn't be a problem if all the core ships had only one model. Whic...

I did say I had not looked at it... and a "conflict" need not be a breakage - exactly. Observe:

Cool, the Wolf MKII & SE sit in their own OXP although the MKII model ( the Wolf MKII paragon) is found in the military fiasco oxp. Which would suggest a possible conflict. Great. That's not many ships though, perhaps the two oxps can be merged? Or the mission seperated from the ships? Actually...

http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt68/Simon_Bridge/Screenshot-OoliteVersion172-Oct1420.png ... this is what I get - but then, I've been delaying the upgrade. I don't think this is supposed to happen in 1.72 either though. I don't think I should have to mandate 1.73 for neolite. Oh - I should poin...

hmm, i'm just not seeing that problem running your shader in rendermonkey, But you've seen the problem in the game right? the only thing i can think of is maybe trying a bit of tweaking in this line (line 104) vec4 engineEffect = engineAlpha * EngineGlow(min(uEngineLevel, 0.5)); I'll have a tweak. ...

@Griff: rogue color - it's odd. There are lots of ways to convert RGB images to greyscale, the first step in making the effectsmap. http://www.gimp.org/tutorials/Color2BW/ ... I use the "desaturate" option - though, it's not really coded to greyscale, it's really still an rgb image isn't i...

Simon - will you be doing re-models for the Wolf MKII and MK II SE as well? I havn't seen them - I'll have to look. They will have to be done sometime, it's just that I've been repeatedly extorted to do whole oxps at once instead of picking a ship here and there. So there will be collateral - like ...

And now for something completely different - a dock rework was requestod. I have created a patterened metal texture based on the triangle parts of the coriolis. The trouble with the dock is, what with the lack of self-shadows, there's too much light. This can be fixed by making the dock less reflect...
