The black is what you (used to?) get when the texture fails to load - check the logs against the texture name. I see the normal map and the specular are working though. (Although - Griff's Coriolis is black isn't it? Could be a script or texture conflict?) I have been meaning to separate the corioli...

Oh yes ... and then I have to upgrade. I'm still on 1.72.
I'm thinking in terms of major changes that are likely to affect the way I build the OXP... or may add to the feel and utility of this craft.

Fixed! (Sort of) Changed the game setting to run in full-screen mode... The new Gnome 3 seems to just hate running OOlite windowed, but this means I cannae get screenshots :( working on it. The livery is not final - I just liked some sort of spots or stripes for the big intake-whatsits for more of a predator look, and maori designs for livery. I figure to use Griff's cobra shaders eventually to vary the paint-scheme. Also add animated sections and more lights ... like the inside of tho...

I'll set up the re2dux materials method - but I was thinking of using Griff's cobra shaders to add variations.

OK - I went and had a look ... seems I've given it role "liner" and goniffed thargoid's liner scripts and AIs, including the one that populates the ooniverse with liners - so you should see them naturally. I havn't flown around enough to tell how often they show up. From the liner's oxp yo...

Compare the other starliners OXP ... otherwise use your own judgement.
The idea is to create the impression that they have a specific route... possibly taking in the good sights in a galaxy.
I'd hope that if a player followed one through a jump, they be able to follow through a route.

Ta - I included the scripts and AIs from liners but none have been modified.
I'll work on improving the graphics - someone mod the scripts please.

OK - it's a plan. I should have a basic OXP up in under a week - run one ship under the Emerald AI.

Some of it also goes in plists too I think.
