Argh - have I not uploaded the new katapo? I think the old arachnids are in www.hbclinux.net.na/oolite.html .tar.gz is used in preference to zip because the standard zip program does not handle multiple files ... I'm not as clear on this as I used to be though. The tar program combines all the files...

Thats cool Griff - but I was going to have the color determined by the rgb part ... so I can have different color glowing bits .... the cabins are all yellow for eg while the engines are cyan and I can add little red and green lights ... and suchlike. Hi Griff - looks like glows it is then ... is it worth strobing the side lights on the vipers?

I plan on adding one more texture and using shaders - but initial distribution will be just the one.

Its an odd effect isn't it? It started out as a rusty texture ... but after color-to-alpha (white) and grain-merge it goes distinctly walnutty. But it does not quite make it ...
