That's where a fuel injector and a couple of drop tanks come in handy. Be aware, though, that a Kirin running injectors will chug quirium like a Ford Explorer chugs gasoline. Fuel efficient it's not. Ehh well, it is the Oolite version of a Hum-V... Tell me about it, I usually carry 4 extra fuel tan...

The NEU doesn't transfer (this is intended), but the sell price of your ship is increased to reflect this. Once you have completed the mission however, you can buy a new NEU for your new ship at a high tech planet (think its tech 14 you need). But at a tech lvl 15 it wasn't offered for sale???? Esz...
