That giant hold really pays for itself with those contract hauls on the F8-F8 screen. ;) Sure, a Kirin is ponderous, but I've found that makes it an ideal platform for long-range precision sniping. But if you want quicker and smaller, there is the Kirin Sport. Though you have to live with fewer, an...

Oh look ex-military variant. I bet your having some fun with that. :D How are you finding her? Oh yes  She's a bit less nimble than the Caddy Omega, my previous ship (which I never thought I'd sell). But the firepower  Slightly different tactics required than the caddy too, these turret...

I doubt he's flying a Kirin; the Kirin only has four energy banks. (Unless it's been illegally and unnecessarily modified, tsk tsk you cheatin' weaselid. A Kirin is iron assed enough without having to go to that extreme.) BTW Tivva, there's a new version of MilHUD out. Thats how I bought it?? It is...

Doesn't bulk dealing in firearms or narcotics get you a fugitive status?
Can you still dock at your destination?

Hi Tivva, if your old pilot feels like he wants to take another challenge after Assasins.oxp, I would kindly suggest Cataclysm.oxp as the next thing to do. It's just another two galactic jumps away. Thanks for the heads up Commander, looks like he'll be making a gal jump or 2 to assist old C...

I have not done that yet, but if you want a challenge Tivva, just start from scratch every single time you get destroyed. You will appreciate how really difficult it is surviving in the Oolite universe. Now that is HARD, I do think the first 2 dozen jumps are the most difficult of the game.... :( i...

Hi Tivva

Yes, I've done the "start from scratch" thing many times. It refreshes the challenge.
The question is: did you keep your well established savegame, or did you bin it?
Oh yes. saved just incase....but i think I wont revisit...

That's where a fuel injector and a couple of drop tanks come in handy. Be aware, though, that a Kirin running injectors will chug quirium like a Ford Explorer chugs gasoline. Fuel efficient it's not. Ehh well, it is the Oolite version of a Hum-V... Tell me about it, I usually carry 4 extra fuel tan...

The NEU doesn't transfer (this is intended), but the sell price of your ship is increased to reflect this. Once you have completed the mission however, you can buy a new NEU for your new ship at a high tech planet (think its tech 14 you need). But at a tech lvl 15 it wasn't offered for sale???? Esz...
