Can you please post your Latest.Log, and also describe what you were doing in-game? (Edit: Based on your scanner, there's no wormholes around, yet that particular situation can only occur if your current target is a wormhole. Do you have any OXPs installed which set your targets for you?) Many thank...

Very much enjoying the story so far, Ganelon. The beginning was a tad bit predictable (ie, Carver & Kitty being an item), but it's developing quite nicely - good twist with the Rahooran government tie-in! Do keep writing :) Also, as well as PDF, any chance of epub? Cheers, - Micha. PS. Couple of...

I finally managed to get a menu: * Pub Menu Pg 1 * Pub Menu Pg 2 * Pub Menu Pg 3 * Special X-Mas Menu If anybody wants anything off the xmas menu I will have to pre-order it (it's not available a-la carte), otherwise just the pub grub. Although they appear to have a bit of an issue with one of their...

According to the Metro, they digitally removed at least 1 naked woman from that picture.
How is that capturing a realistic view of the city I ask?? Censorship. Pah!
And Where's Wally? *g*g*

On the C64 you could toggle planet features on & off: There were two styles - one put a circle on the planet, making it look a bit like a death-star, the other was 2 lines of latitude at right-angles to each other (even though their crossing point was not on the planets' pole). Both of these gav...

No, players don't generate wormholes. Probably because there is nobody left to see it. but shouldn't be too difficult to add. :) The way I thought it could work would be for a Wormhole to be added to the 'scanned_wormholes' of the player object so it sticks around, then give any ships in the vicini...

The 'proper' fix would be to add the escort ships to the players' wormhole - which I'm not entirely sure off the top of my head actually exists, but shouldn't be too difficult to add.

This could then also allow pirates to follow the player if they reach his wormhole in time too *G*

What's especially impressive is that stellarium runs on my smartphone :) Cloudy here in London :( (Not that there's a high chance of seeing anything anyway with this lightpollution) As for watching meteor showers, in general you will get the maxima in the early morning hours though, rather than in t...

I wonder why they're so expensive - the price guide says $10/cm3 for steel and these are 3x that.

Looking nice though!

On the topic of more storyline - that is one thing I really hope does NOT become part of the core. It's what set Elite apart when it was first written and is still very very rare to find in any game these days - completely open-ended with nothing pushing the player into a particular direction. Addin...

If we add better solar system generation, I'd like to see gas-giant-refuelling as part of Core. Also, if we vamp up the systems themselves to go away from single-planet-single-sun, why not vamp up the galaxy map as well? I believe someone mentioned that the maps are set in stone and would not be rev...

Ok, so people lose their jobs as a defence contractors. Big bleeding deal - they'd be working in the space industry instead! Thumbs up to converting "defence" budgets into education, research, and space. I just can't fathom why humans seem so bloody keen on blowing things and each other to...

My personal copy of Oolite has had auto-eject escape capsules for a while now. The way I see it buying (and using) an escape capsule should be a second-chance to continue playing. It costs some time & money so is not a completely free 'get out of jail' card. IMHO, auto-ejecting capsules are way ...
