Are all these spammers getting past the captcha system? (erm, I forgot, does the BBS have a captcha in the registration?).
Or do these guys have armies of 3rd world children online and pay them $0.0001 per successful captcha or something?

Re: At least buy me a beer!
another question came to me: why is it that no NPC (except -maybe- the cops) ever helps me out? It would be cool if there were a inter-ship chatter system, I'm sure that must have been proposed before. Hail other ships, congratulate them on a kill, taunt pirates, shout for help, etc. Maybe even put...

Re: Tales from the spacelanes...
I must confess I like the 'must use eyes' feature... :) Well, there is still this thing with the station : a ) vanishing from eyesight at a certain distance-range, will reappear when coming closer, or getting farther away. b ) the station being visible through the planet. combined, those effects ca...

Re: Is it time to 'fix' the Anaconda?
I could even take more cargo contracts than total capacity by temporarily offloading my goods at a station so I had room to get more. This could prove problematic because I'd need to re-buy similar goods later before reaching the destinations. This has always struck me as a something of a flaw in t...

Re: Tales from the spacelanes...
While engaging a medium difficulty random hits assignment, I sucesfully got in some good hits on the mark, then I got to use my favorite trick when the mark escapes through a wormhole -- energy bombing (IMO it's just not *lite without the energy bomb) all the henchmen and then leisurely making my wa...

Re: V1.77
Oh, I can deal with it, now. I haven't lost my touch, as I have taken every ship I built out on numerous excursions, and faced down the deadliest forces I could find. In the case of ships I made as pure traders, I tried making trade runs with them, once again just trying to make it to the Main Syst...

Re: Military Fiasco not starting?
The order for me on 1.77 was definitely: 1) ship encounters, 2) update status screens, 3) mission intro That is definitely a bug, but one with a very low probability. Before the mission offer they are added with low probability and you need to kill 5 before you get an update screen. And the mission...

Re: At least buy me a beer!
HEY BUDDY! At least you could buy me a beer at the dock, let alone maybe a flippin' reward !?! Geesh! Does this need a new interface? A bar would be nice, but I notice that other OXPs after completing them give little rewards upon docking from time to time. It might be a slight inconsistency if the...

Maintenance update. I added a script to the military ships subentities. Special for the guys that loved to shoot of the subentities before going for the big kill. (see for yourself what happens) Military Fiasco 2.4 Thanks for that, my favorite part of fighting Imperial Couriers is blowing away thei...

Is there a log or a setting in an oxp to turn on loggin to see once and for all if there's something wrong in my installation? I do have Zz-Oohaul.oxp, I see OOhaul ships, and yet I have docked at Pi-42s hundreds of times and never, ever gotten a single offer of a mission. I satisfy all the requirem...

Re: modernized targetting system
In order to build multi-part missions with multiple subgoals and have them be playable, the ship targetting system needs an overhaul. While I agree that there could be more enhancements to the target computer, I would not agree with the above statement. The quite complex missions with huge and conf...
