Re: The chronicles of Shulth - Apocrypha

Ok I finally have news. After a massive alcoholic pay off. My editor will be releasing a fixed version of book 1 within the next week. And I will be starting to serialise book 2 "Exodus" on the forum. My editor has pointed me in the direction of a wonderful grammar program. (hey we can't a...

The gun (originally) was designed for pure accuracy.
The rainbow variation may have "messed" with this some what.
I still have the utmost faith in the variation however and it's creator.

Re: Brexit vote, the zombie apocalypse and other fallout.

Ever feel like your in a box, you have the key to the box but your captor wants you to give it to them before they lock it down and padlock you in. Not for any particular physical reason. It won't change your general situation, of the overall encompassing nature of your confinement. But it's importa...

Your not slothful sir! Merely fashionably late. The best way to be in all the talked about social circles.

Remember to pick up a map before you exit the station:

"Wow I thought this was like one of those votes, which like didn't matter and maybe just maybe I might be able to stick it to the man..... I didn't realise I was voting to cut my own c**k off and ram it up my a**.... I feel unsure about this now we've started dishing out the razor blades.....&q...

Re: The U.S. election - the aftermath

He has an agenda. But this isn't a corporate take over. When one commands a country one must be prepared for the unexpected coming at you from several different angles. The proof of the pudding is in the eating and the proof of this president is his reaction to disaster. There lies the test. Wouldn'...

Re: What is regarded as canonical in Oolite history

The timeline I did was created independently of my involvement of Oolite (and might actually predate it) so the choice of Oolite fiction writers (or OXP writers) to reference it is entirely theirs. My recent thoughts on the timeline and Oolite in relation to the established "Frontier Developme...

Re: The U.S. election - the aftermath

There is method in there. Secure what matters. Increase in spending for the army and for support services for veterans. A good emperor knows that if you look after the praetorian guard, your chances of getting a knife in the back decreases rapidly. Now we just have to find a solution for all those p...

Re: After a Cobra MkIII, what ship?

Yeah, The Dark Rainbow. I can't be too down on it because to be so, is against the ethos of oolite itself. Play, hack, adapt. The played game is not the entire game, the concept is. You start playing one, get annoyed by bits of it then begin the "master add on game". It is uber, mind you t...

Re: Petition supporting EU citizenship for Brits after Brexit.

This is a capital idea and a great way of separating the social wheat from the anti-social isolationist chaff. Sorry to be blunt but months down the line I'm still feeling quite militant about this: "We're out, suck it up and get on board." To whit my reply is usually: "Sorry mate, st...

Re: The U.S. election - the aftermath

I have been trying, (after getting into one or two arguments on other forums about this) to become a little more philosophical about this entire undertaking. I mean as long as it doesn't end in thermo nuclear war (in which case a bad hair cut is going to be the last thing on anyone's mind) all that ...

Battlefield highlights: A) Putting semtex round a sniper, running in front of him and blowing him up as he draws a bead on you. B) Strapping anti-tank mines to a hummer and driving it at a tank C) Creeping up behind anyone and pull off their dogtags with the twist of the knife you've just used to st...

I'm sure that despite being 70 and the oldest elected president ever....he will receive the very best health care in order to counterbalance the extreme stresses that job has to offer...
Think a happy thought. :)
