Don't let that stop you writing!

(Early indications are that I didn't need to be in such a muck sweat to finish Claymore Mine either. :? )

Re: Tales from the spacelanes...

Starting up a new Commander, a few Jumps in and I'm running cargo from Isinor to Ensoreus trying to keep the margins up, and a couple of bad guys decide to come and bother me. I'm only toting a Pulse Laser so things don't look good, but I try corkscrewing towards the station more in hope than expect...

Re: Claymore Mine

Dear all, Claymore Mine has now been finished and is being proofed for release on CreateSpace, which will also result in a (cheaper!) Kindle version being released. I will not be posting the remainder of the story in this thread but I will post links here and, after I've investigated the business of...

Re: Oolite ZS Chronicles

Thanks for the info! Nonetheless, I put up a good fight there. Don't know why some people give the Pulse Laser a bad rap, for it busted a Cobra and a Krait. Edit: does Diso have a Coriolis Station? Can't seem to find it. Then again, I don't exactly know how Coriolis Stations are arranged. All syste...

Re: Oolite ZS Chronicles

Hurrah, more reading matter! 8) I've gotten the hang of my Cobra's controls, so I decided to head back to Lave to bring more radioactives to Leesti. Well, there's your problem. Lave's a good system to get out of first up, not so good for going back to. As you've gone to Leesti, try Diso!

Re: An actual for-real paper book!

Well done, congratulations! Thank you, I've sold a paper copy already ( OldGamer , maybe?). I heard from one of my pupils before the end of term that "this book that Sir wrote, there's a four-way on like the second page!". Well, if it gets the kids reading...! :D :D Unfortunately I gave t...

Re: v1.84 release

Aargh! I wanted to spend my summer holiday catching up on my writing, you guys! And now there's this monster lurking behind my computer screen going "Download me... download me... download me..." How dare people spend so much of their own time and trouble on making such a high-quali...

Re: An actual for-real paper book!

lol. Time enough to use the word "successful" when I've got a few more sales to my name, I'm thinking - but words of encouragement from someone with actual experience in the industry is cheering, and that's a fact. Still hoping to see if yesterday's leaflet raid will have any practical eff...
