I DEMAND DESKTOP PROCESSORS AND PCI-E SLOTS! Then why don't you [ Link removed by moderator] Oh. I've just noticed that my link's been removed. On a forum dedicated to a game which flagrantly rips off the intellectual property of David Braben and Ian Bell without paying them a penny in royalt...

Forgive me for steering this thread back on topic... ;) ...but FYI I'm running a 2009 Mac Mini, with two 20 inch screens (1600x1200) connected to the Mini's two video-out ports. When I start Oolite, the game appears on the right-hand screen while the left-hand screen remains black.

However, I do live in another suffolk (you can guess which) and happen to know how it's pronounced.
Fair enough Wackyman, but we Brits have heard our fair share of visitors struggling to pronounce our place names. And George W. Bush asking which "state" Wales was in.

Isn't there a list around somewhere with all cat names trademarked by Apple? From there it would be relatively easy to conclude the upcoming upgrade path. "Apple has also registered "Lynx" and "Cougar" as trademarks, though these were allowed to lapse." -- http://en.wi...

DH, I was in Bognor Regis on Saturday when a B-17 flew over. It was green with the single white-star-in-a-blue circle on the underside of one wing. I think that would be USAAF colours rather than USAF colours. Then on Sunday, I was walking in Eartham Woods when an Avro Vulcan flew over. I can't reme...

I think possibly as one of the few people who has actually read the digital britain report I can safely say that 2Mbit/s minimum that Gordon has set out as the bare minimum is never going to happen, not by any method laid out in the report anyway. When I was living in Guisborough, I helped my neigh...

I was with Virgin when I lived in the NE of England, but here in sunny Sussex, nobody's dug up the roads to lay fibre optic. So we're all operating thru British Telecom's copper wires and telegraph poles. My line had been experiencing intermittent crackling for months now, with an predictable impact...
