I am currently bouncing around galaxy 2 in the region of zaria. Have been tasked with "hunting down stolen navy ships" and finding the "missing leviathon". Have various oxps' installed and have now got into a bad habit of blowing the daylights out of every leviathon i see. Usuall...

ok - Where do i find version 1.7

I assume the install is straight forward and I simply copy my save files and active OXP's into the appropriate areas of the new 1.7 install area.

Thanks

I have a couple of great wee shots I took on a misguided mission to nowhere....

The second shot has a 'Behemoth' in the foreground and it is a tiddler in comparison.

I have NO IDEA how to attach the files however !!!!!!

Well i made it as far as witchspace but upon arrival - my nasty ship environmental system shuts down and my life force gets pushed into a state of suspended animation. Ok- my pc completey hangs On normal run - which seems absolutley fine by me - my FPs clocks at around 33 - 40. This only ever varies...

witchspace

I remember from years gone by that you could 'force' a witchspace failure which always resulted in you being dropped into witchspace when you initiated a jump. [pause, W, unpause or something like that] It would also happen at random every once in a while. Keen to take on some thargoid bad booys. !!...

Turning off the Docking computer

is there anyway to turn off the docking computer mid sequence. I have (at least on a few occassions) been completely pulverised by other craft while 'stuck' in the middle of a docking sequence [docking with deep space dredger or bohemeth]. Once you have started - you seem to be at the mercy of the e...

I am looking for the 'long way round' mission !!

Anyone help out ?

[mostly for the fact 'it suits beginners in Galaxy 1 - which is me :o)]

Any other mission oxp's lurking around would be great.

Sorry guys - I am nowhere near 'worthy' status of such a collection of captains, however, On the subject of big kills little effort (well us plebs got to starts somewhere) Dropped a q mine on a nice collection of ships viewing the Tianve pulsar - over 200 kills. I was mostly shocked as couldn't comp...

I am really new to the space lanes (about a 100 kills, 100 cred and some fuel scoops to my name) - so dont want to be an impetuous young pup ... I have loaded up a few oxp's already and enjoy all the extra features my old zx speccie never had. To BUY a space station ('home docking port') - could 'so...

Being a sad IT person - I have kept backups so havent lost too much time or creds. >>> I will have to go and clock up a few more kills for the asteriod mission :o) >>> the falcon - 4 times I have had one nearby, in my sights (felt bad shooting at it as my old 'teen handle' was of course 'solo' not f...

The Search for OXP's

Having wet my appetite scratching through the wiki on absolutely everything - decided to load up some oxp's getting very excited about seeing the falcon, the dredger, new sounds, some extra missions and so on. Having deposited them in the right place, loaded up my save to drool over all the weapons ...

A New pilot looking for inspiration

A quick hello to all my fello combateers. I have just joined the forum - picking up oolite last week and clocking up about 30 hours over the weekend (wife was away) I was a zx spectrum and amiga 'pilot' from way back and was stacked when my brother sent me on this mission. __________________________...
