The warhead is pretty hard to find! Especially when it flies away from the Boa at a speed of about .4 (could catch it with Witchspace injectors but not without them) but then couldn't see it the first 10 times.

And I love the weapon assembly bit :)

Of course I did go and do it 'properly' afterwards and it was good fun :) Even if I was miffed that I was 5000Cr down on the two GalPods I'd had. Only got 1.75 million Credits left now! I guess it's the 'problem' with an Open Source game like this - there's no one to say 'No!' whenever two OXPs clash.

Think I might have found another wee bug - again it's a minor 'clash' with another OXP and is nothing major :)

At one stage you have to try and get a GalPod from somewhere. But on the way there I passed a Communist Worker Factory that sold Galactic Hyperdrives.

Chopped Cobra seems to be just the thing. A tiny smidge slower than the Asp (0.38 vs 0.4) but goes from 1 to 3 missiles slots and 0 to 33 (when extended) tonnes of cargo. Plus it's cheaper :) I've deliberately avoided getting many OXP ships as they can be over-powered but this one seems to be basica...

I was getting tempted to tweak my ASP to give it scoops but since you say I need two missile pods it's probably time to sell all the equipment on it, find a nice high tech planet and replace everything on a new ship.

Ah right OK. What's fast, fighty and can have fuel scoops then? Time to go shopping... But it took me ages to find an Asp! I think the screenshots are a good idea. When you first start you're busy trying to get the last tenth a credit out of each run. Knowing if you're going to make a better profit out of your last 115 credits with 2 more tonnes of machinery or 1 tonne of the more expensive computers is useful to know.

I always thought thargoid carriers paid out too much anyway. You can just sit there shooting them and they do nothing to stop you. OK maybe one or two thargoid craft come out but that's just more money for afterwards.

Perhaps they need a dozen plasma turrets?
