OK, there are now two resource pack options for Xenon UI: Pack A for 16:9 screens, and Pack B for 16:10 screens. All available via the Wiki page or through the download manager. The new planets are very nicely rendered, and with a FOV of 69 it looks more natural on 16:10 display.

Arch Linux if you like to get yout hand dirty and build your own system (but you are not as crazy as Gentoo or Linux from scratch people ).
