Seriously though, stick at it, there is nothing more fullfilling than (trying to type whilst my dog wants to play) getting a mod you have created into your Ooniverse.

Re: Eagle transporter [WIP] and Mulga MkII

As far as I can tell from the DAT file, it has converted it properly. Does it load into Oolite? Remember case sensitivity.

Re: More keyboard confusion

Problem is with the previous key definition:
key_next_compass_mode = "\";
Needs to be escaped as in:
key_next_compass_mode = "\\";

Re: Eagle transporter [WIP] and Mulga MkII

Does the OBJ file reference the correct texture file that is in the MTL file? Or even the same material?

Re: BGS - The BackgroundSet

Just to clarify, are you using v1.10.7 ??? I am, now :-D Sorry for the noise, all is good! <departs mumbling something about the age of some players, and why don't they use "post it"s if they lack the memory to properly sync multiple copies of their AddOns folder after newer versions are ...

Re: BGS - The BackgroundSet

@Tricky: may I point out this part of the "Progress" thread. The main question/request would be if the "bgs_fxEngineDown" and "bgs_fxEngineUp" effects could be linked with the "real game" (e.g. speed up/speed down/torus drive on/torus drive off) events (as op...

Re: BGS - The BackgroundSet

A question...: I like the hyperjump / Docking effects of BGS, but I'd like to Keep my Sound as it is. So I intend to download only one of the separate packages. Which would that be? The Wiki pages says that BGS_I is the Background Pictures only, BGS-C and BGS-M seem both to deal with sounds. Where ...

Re: Ship Modelling Advice

Oolite actually uses a format known as DAT. You can use a convertor (https://github.com/OoliteProject/oolite-mesh-converters) to get the correct format from OBJ files. Use Obj2DatTexNorm.py

Also need to be able to run Python.

Re: Added a graphics card

Now there's an idea, Cody.. with your fancy new rig, it shouldn't be too hard to make one! I was kinda planning a movie, once I could make use of nVidia's Shadowplay - but you gotta have the whole GeForce Experience package installed to run that, and me and GFE do not get on! In my opinion it's blo...

Re: [WIP] Classic Ships

What you could do is create a mod pack with the models, textures and config files with a list of steps that the modder needs to follow.

Re: Proposal for 1.82: updates to service level / maintenanc

If enough of the backend is exposed to Javascript then I can see somebody writing a Service Log Book. Would be really handy to check out if would be worth doing the tune-up now, leave it til the next system or just wait for a full service. You could also just leaf through the history to see how well...
