Re: Forum Problems
Prosilver dark edition also still has some things like various user groups/names (including my own) in a dark colour which is amost unreadable with that board skinning... Since last night I changed the colors of the groups to bright and cheerful ones, but Cody was outraged )) I brought back the ori...

Re: Forum Problems
As far as I understand, styles are not configured in the admin panel. I'm going to roll back the original style files almost exactly as they were. I want to collect all the improvements in one file and connect it in some standard way, otherwise it will be impossible to update the forum later and sup...

Re: Forum Problems
Just wanted to mention this somewhere: I'm digging the new forum so much! Great job to all involved. It’s probably become more responsive and this makes it more comfortable to “surf” on it. There is still a lot of work, both visual and on the server itself, for example, the database is still runnin...

Re: Forum Problems
Done. We have a new link 'Contact us' on top and bottom of each page. Don't know if that form is subject to recaptcha. But as it seems to disclose some personal data I created a separate forum Helprequests that is not publicly viewable. Administrators, Moderators and Spam Assassins should have acce...

Re: Forum Problems
Such a form, guarded by recaptcha could be even better that disclosing the email address. And any forum moderator and admin could be able to see and react. Is this possible with the forum software directly? Should we add some extension? Yes, precisely so as not to bother with access to some mailbox...

Re: Forum Problems
So do we need a feedback form on index page for not logged-in? If that's possible, it's probably the best way to do it. in this case, from my point of view, the ideal option looks something like this: there is a feedback form that posts messages (via captcha) to a special topic on the forum, which ...

Re: Forum Problems
How was this handled in the past? I don't think it was handled in any way. What it needs is an oolite.space mailbox, with link displayed on the (not logged-in) index page. Then mods/admins could monitor the mailbox for users having problems (and keep it clear of spam). I want to note that I see the...
