These are the first lines of description.plist
{
// Plural-form handling.
// * The format is an array of rules, each one a string, as set out below.
// * |index| is, by default, 0 for the first rule.
// It is incremented by 1 for each following rule.
Anything strange?
Thanks

Re: Oolite in French
If you are using the current 'openstep' code, the first line should simply consist of an open curly bracket like this '{' as in the core game's descriptions.plist - see below which is the first five lines (most of which are comments on the code).. { It's exactly what I see and what I copied from En...

Re: Oolite in French
Hello Commanders, All the files are translated, edited with Notepad++ I copied the FR files in Config, then started with the shift key. Well, the log says is rebuilding cache but stops with the following line: 15:52:37.541 [plist.parse.failed]: Failed to parse Resources/Config/descriptions.plist as ...

Re: Oolite in French
Thanks commanders,
Anyway, Notepad++ seems to work great and I am on the job now.
I will probably need some help of computing skills on the end, just as like 2 years ago for previous version...

Re: Oolite in French
Just a thought but as you are using Windows, are you using Notepad to do your editing? Notepad breaks things in Oolite by adding un-wanted extra characters. Notepad++ is fine. Ouch! Ok... one more issue :) Is there a way to "search and destroy" the extra characters? I have the trial versi...

Re: Oolite in French
Hi another_commander
I tried to be lazy, hoping updating description.plist would be enough for the 1.77:)
Well... I go on with all the files.
I tried to rename the extension but windows still read the file as a .txt and not as a .plist
This issue is postponed until the translation is over![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
Thanks

Re: Oolite in French
Hi Commanders, I finally found the time and energy to go through description.plist and equipment.plist. So both files are now in French according to the version 1.77. However, I am not able to save them in .plist format (there are in .txt) Can anybody give me some clues? I am not a developer so any ...

Re: Bug with decimal-separator
Hello McLane,
I am on it: Oolite is my favorite line on my resume![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
If it goes well, there is still a few hours of translating to go and, probably, a couple of days for testing...
Update to come then.

Re: Bug with decimal-separator
Eric, My only OXP is no more working *sigh*. I start by removing the buggy files from box.net and links... Then I'll have a look to the Italian files and do what have to be done. More job on my plate, but French commanders will fly back with a better experience... Thanks for quick tracking of the pr...

Bug with decimal-separator
Hello Commanders, I haven't been playing Oolite much these two last years but I am back in trade and fight :) I just loaded the new version and a bunch of OXP's, including my only OXP Oolite en Français (Oolite in French) On the F2 screen (Commander's presentation), the total of money is shown as 12...

New location
Hello,
I stupidly stored the file on a site where I am registred... so my test was OK.
I put the zip file on box.net so it should be easier for you to practise your French
The wiki page is updated.
Thanks

Oolite_FR
Diziet Sma, I added a link on the OXP Wiki (Oolite en français) under the previous translations. Could you please tell me if the link and the download are ok? By the way, I added a lisezmoi.txt (readme) explaining how install the OXP. I wonder if the installation path (oolite.app/resources/config) a...

Corporate State
Thanks Commanders!
I translated by something meaning "Enterprise state" so, from your posts, I was not out of the range. However, I'll try to find a better word.
Thanks again
