That seems like a good idea, and I placed those two keys in a comfortable place for me. However I do think I will keep the other keys as they are, since otherwise I would have to re-learn them, and I am lazy. ;)

Okay. I couldn't get it set to the same keys as it's intended to but I've moved it to some other keys.

Thanks for the help!

Thanks, I've found the file, but I am looking like crazy a place that tells me what keys correspond to what values. Is there any particular word I should google for that currently escapes me?

Keyboard layout

I have another question I am wondering about. My Ubuntu keyboard layout is Swedish, and I have noticed that pressing the key where ` and \ sits on the US keyboard does not bring out the Comm log nor does it toggle the advanced compass modes. Neither does pressing the Swedish keycombinations required...

I asked around at the Ubuntuforums and was pointed to the ubuntu guide section that talks about integrated intel cards. (Sorry can't post link as I'm too new here.)

That solved my problem, so if anyone else run into this, try it out.

Thanks for taking the time. :)

No worries. :)

I've been looking there, but it seems like other people -- like in that thread -- have problems getting sounds at all. Mine works fine, except in Oolite where it's very choppy.

Thanks anyway, though. :) I'll ask there too.

Not sure at all. My computer is a Dell Inspiron 6400 with some built in soundcard that's most like not very good. Could I find drivers for linux for this, and how would I go about installing them?

Thanks again for the friendly help. :)

Okay, so I have one more question. I installed the custom sounds oxp, and the sounds is really choppy. I am assuming this has something to do with how Ubuntu processes its sound, but I am wondering if anyone knows if it can be improved upon.

Thanks for the quick reply!

My problem is, I don't know where Oolite got installed! I installed it through apt-get using sudo, if that helps.

Ubuntu question

Hi! I recently found Oolite and installed it from the repositories in Ubuntu (Feisty) and I am enjoying it immensely. I've only just started and currently am flying between planets in Galaxy 1 trading stuff. I still get hammered by any bunch of pirates I run into, so I try to stay clear of them. Any...
