Right here we go. This is what I have now, with the galaxy256.png image coloured completly in black, no more green nebulae like I said but better than what I had... http://www.naturalaromas.co.uk/photos/1.70now.jpg This is how it looks with the first texture you posted... http://www.naturalaromas.co...

Re: Good!
I have solved it... well kind of. Congratulations! :) So now on to installing 1.70 and the Realistic Shipyards will also work now if you still want them *holds up shiny blinking your-ad-here billboard* :? Right on Commander :!: L Yes I have 1.70 installed now and will download your oxp now.

Your graphics card is listed in the stderr.txt. You have a VIA/S3G UniChrome Pro IGP/MMX/SSE card, which is quite low-end and with doubtful OpenGL support. The fact that a) no one else has reported a similar problem and b) you get the same (bad) visuals without OXPs installed is quite a clear hint ...

To be honest I am not too sure what graphics card I have. Where would I be able to find out? I have tried 1.70 without any OXP's installed and it is still the same. Here is the whole stderr contents (I started a new game)... 2008-03-10 17:32:08.734 oolite.exe[5052] File NSUserDefaults.m: 562. In [NS...

Stella backgrounds in 1.68 and 1.70
I am currently running 1.68 and the stella background looks like this... http://www.naturalaromas.co.uk/photos/1.68.jpg However with 1.70 it looks like this... http://www.naturalaromas.co.uk/photos/1.70.jpg I would rather upgrade to 1.70 but I hate the backgrounds now. It is even worse with some oth...

Re: @elite
Hye, Is there a deeper reason why you are not playing it with 1.70? It definitely seems to work with this version. And, as far as I believe to have heard, 1.68 is LESS stable than 1.70. I would definitely recommend upgrading to 1.70, as I have no idea if and how the Realistic Shipyards can be made ...

Just got around to playing since installing this oxp. I am on 1.68 and the ship yard doesn't work at all. Pressing F3 twice does nothing. I have no ship yard at all. I tried it with a new game and still didin't work. I took the oxp out and it worked as normal. Any chance of getting this to work with...
