Re: Unreacheable systems...

You can save all your fuel by creating a misjump while entering an existing wormhole. This does take time lurking around a main station to find a trader creating such a wormhole.

Re: Oolite v1.82, OSX Yosemite 10.10.4 - Game fails to load?

I just noticed this bugreport. I can't reproduce it either with OSX 10.10.4. I tried both the 1.82 deployment version as the developpers version. Probably ffutures should download the developpers version. It is also on the http://oolite.org/download/ page but a little bit down on the page. The diffe...

Re: Missing dependency in Feudal States.

I'll upload a version 1.3.3 as soon as possible. I think I fixed that error long ago with some other changes in juli 2014 but apparently forgot to upload it.

from the (yet unreleased) readme:
1.3.3 Added old Anaconda & Boa texture that were removed from Oolite 1.80

Re: UPS-Courier

You can take system packages like that to any other system of that type anywhere else in that galaxy. Yep, that simple. Any other except the starting point. But that is the local system, am I just supposed go launch and return to the station immediately? If you would have tried, you had seen a mess...

Re: Hoopy Casino

Spara, you mean it was still not working. I was sure I pasted a working link into the field as I double-checked the link was working before I pasted it. I should have tested again after pasting. Now I deleted the last two characters and retyped them. This time I verified it downloads.

Re: Hoopy Casino

I wonder where that character is coming from. As I originally could not copy the link from the wiki, I typed the whole string by hand when updating the manifest.

Probably I did hit the return key when ready while the cursor was still in that entryfield.

Re: Thargoid Wars accidental cowardice

Just by chance I logged in today. :) I thought it to be a safe when presenting the page with a timer, instead of already on docking. It also makes sense that the attack only starts after being docked for a while. And yes, that can interfere with the actions in progress. I don't see an quick way to c...

Re: Hoopy Casino

I have no idea why the link is not working. The first is the link I copied from the wiki and the second line is copied from the one I filled in in the manifest: http://wiki.alioth.net/img_auth.php/b/bc/Hoopy_casino_1.3.3.oxz http://wiki.alioth.net/img_auth.php/b/bc/Hoopy_casino_1.3.3.oxz‎ The first ...

Re: Oolite Mac OS X – Trunk nightly builds

The builds were synchronized back in September, but then most likely a change that isn't compatible on the Mac was inserted in the code. I just synchronised with trunk and compiled on my mac. It compiles without errors. So at the moment I see no reason why trunk does not compile for the mac. (Both ...

Re: Please update OXPs for 1.80

Both should be compatible with 1.80, otherwise I had update them before 1.80 release. I think I created the current version for both. Deep Space Dredgers is on my list to create an updated version with the new subentitie definitions as it throws warnings in current trunk. There are also a few others...

Killing enemies with cargo by this slingshot mechanism is mentioned before by several players. Although nobody could proof with a screenshot, that he ...

Re: oolite --verify-oxp fails when path has spaces in it

On the mac, you can use a backslash as an escape character to insert spaces in a path. So

Code: Select all

oolite --verify-oxp ~/Documents/WIP/oolite/ShieldCycler Next 1.1.0/
becomes

Code: Select all

oolite --verify-oxp ~/Documents/WIP/oolite/ShieldCycler\ Next\ 1.1.0/
I have no idea if this works for windows/linux.

Re: Hyperjump from a star

I don't have misjump analyser installed - tried it briefly, but it felt like cheating… You won't cheat when using it. I wrote it to experience more misjumps as they were to rare in my opinion. And as mentioned above, it can only warn you for misjumps it is generating itself. The bluepring...

Re: [Solved] WARNING: Timer <OOJSTimer

No idea how having it plugged in might lead to that issue, My previous adaptor for my MacBook did cause strange things to happen to my trackpad. Believe it or not, the trackpad did not work correctly when the MacBook was standing flat on the table. The problem went over when lifting one corner up o...
