I took matters into my own hands before the last couple of answers, and simply copied the Berlios keyconfig instead of what was already there and saved it. Now is it simply a case of changing the keys I want changed as Smivs said?

Do I simply "save as" after I'm done?

Ok then, find the keyconfig.plist under /your oolite path/oolite.app/resources/, the / may need to be changed to \ for windows and edit the file to your preferences. If that helps.
