Map dump key control
If you wan to dump the text file of the galaxy data, and chart of the routes, you press ! (shift - 1). However, if you have the Advanced Navigational Array installed, that keypress is taken by the ARA. Obviously, the solution is to redsefine the keys, but it would be good if the defaults were adjust...

I believe that navigation buoys were in the Spectrum version. In my day, we didn't have them on the BBC version, and we used to look down our collective nose at the Speccy users who couldn't dock without them. (Yes, I'm from a strange alien race that has a collective nose. Don't visit our world when...

I did try not paying the loan for a bit, but the gunships got quite arsey. Am I right in thinking the Renegade ships are part of the OXP? They seem to have the same threefold lasers and hard missile volleys. I was expecting to get into some kind of Holy War between them and the Monks. Blowing up the...

Black Monks - what are they for?
I've had the Black Monks OXP installed for some time. I even took a loan from them. (And paid it back!) Apart from a few renegades attacking me in low-tech planets, nothing else seems to happen. I even managed to blow up a Black Monks' Base, and still nothing happened. Is there any more to this? A s...

Can't the player at least keep the target lock once a missile is fired, even if he can't fire salvos? I did request a feature from Giles a while back, which he said he'd implement but I don't think he got round to. As you can cycle between missiles, locking them onto multiple targets (or the same o...

NPC Hard missiles wrong colour on scanner
When an NPC launches a hardened missile at me, the missile appears yellow on my scanner, rather than the usual blue.
When I fire one, it appears blue.
Anyone else have this?

I always maintain that Original BBC Elite put you halfway across your journey, and took half your fuel, so theoretically, you should still be able to witchspace out after a malfunction. (I've got it on an emulator somewhere, I must check.) I have mixed feelings about the jerry can. The fuel limit is...
