Re: Test Version 1.68 Glowing

I’d like to see more people’s opinions before I decide whether to go back, adjust the intensity, change the drawing or leave it as it is for now. I much it prefer it in the new lightness, as you can actually see out of the back window now. Particularly useful for trying to shoot down in coming miss...

Aw.

I was hoping there was an _Anomaly_ in Galaxy 8, in a Star Trek way.

Ah. What seems to have happened is that the roll keys were modified in the AddOns keyconfig to the same keys as the App config was using for yaw control, and the yawing took precedence over the rolling.

Adding yaw variables to the AddOn plist solved it.

[quote="Ahruman"] if it’s a text-format plist, or <key>key_yaw_left</key> <integer>0</integer> <key>key_yaw_right</key> <integer>0</integer> Yes, that's fixed it. I've used K and L for yaw, which are just above the classic , and . combination for roll. Thanks. In the App keyconfig, yaw is ...

Hello

Just downloaded 1.68 - (didn't know there was a new version since 1.65...!)

However my keyboard controls yaw instead of rolling. How can I change them back?

Thanks for all the work.

Oolite probably can't recognise iTunes, if it is running in Classic.

But iTunes 6 should run natively in 10.3.9. So that's your real problem.
In fact, I'm surprised that it does run in Classic.

When you say "I've got to", what do you mean?

And do you know what is REALLY sad: I can't have fixed it for quite a while, because according to Apple's support website there is NOT A SINGLE authorized Apple dealer IN MY WHOLE CONTINENT!!!!!! . Well, your location is the south-eastern corner of Galaxy 3! You'll need to move to a planet with a h...

Ahh, but a trade mark is a completely separate type of protection. A trade mark symbol may or may not be subject to copyright; either way, the fact that it’s a trade mark is irrelevant (as long as it’s not used to promote a competing product or service in the same domain). Ziggactly. You're ferpect...

Pirates are pirates. Just because you are a pirate too, it doesn't mean that other pirates won't try to rip you off, too! The reall problem with saving a game at pirate coves is that currently there is only a percentage chance that a rock hermit will appear in a given system, so next time you load, ...

As far as UK copyright law is concerned, anything that takes it's starting point as another existing design has to show that it is 'colourably different'. Many court cases have centred around what exactly this means. It's fine to take an existing artwork, and modify it in some way to create somethin...

Oolite gives you the opportunity either to head down the space lane and take your chances, or to wander outside the lane for a quicker safer journey. That first trip to Zaonce can take ages if you don't have fuel injectors. I guess, for the advanced player, it can be good to have ships popping up ev...

Python Class Cruiser docking

I recently bought a Python Class Cruiser, which is a great ship, but I found it impossible to dock. I always blew up every time I tried to dock with a space station. Behemoths and Hermits were ok, though. Eventually, I figured it out: rotate the ship to keep the slot axis vertical, rather than horiz...

Didn't hear about that. The original BBC Elite gave you a code when you became ELITE. You were supposed to send back the code to Acornsoft and you got some goodies.

They stopped doing it, though, because too many people became ELITE!

Trouble with Ionics mission (Spoiler)

Hmm. Just started the Ionics mission.

I've landed at Zaria, after being asked to get a package from there, and nothing's happened...
It still says "get package from Zaria" in F5.

I've done it before, so not sure why. Any thoughts? Cheers.
