Re: Introducing Commodity Calculator Version 1.0

I get it now, you mean Commodity prices are not Evenly distributed across the Economies, when price of example: Rich Industrials is so low that when it stepwise is lowered according to the formula & economy so when it hits 0 its flips and becomes approximately 102.. and vice versa, its hard to p...

Re: Introducing Commodity Calculator Version 1.0

I would not classify that as a bug, rather expected behavior. I think the main reason that some OXP stations got trouble with prices is because they do not understand how the commodity entries work.. Now with this tool, you can see the Maximum and Minimum Prices, even target such behavior, should it...

Re: Introducing Commodity Calculator Version 1.0

ok a bit of cross searching on your nick and "overflow" brought me to that constrores got that "overflow bug", which i think is fully intentional. Constores got some odd prices.. If i punch in the numbers for a constore Food Commodity I get this. http://i304.photobucket.com/album...

Re: Introducing Commodity Calculator Version 1.0

Looking good! :D I have one suggestion: the highest and lowest price alone can be deceitful because of the overflow issue. For instance, lowest = 1.2 and highest = 100.4 looks like an even distribution across the price range at first sight, but may actually be anything but. It could (and is likely ...

Introducing Commodity Calculator Version 1.0

I'm proud to present the Oolite Commodity Calculator A tool to calculate prices for your OXP station, or for where to head next planning your journey across the stars.. It comes with no instructions as for OXP developers it should be pretty straight forward and testing and practice makes perfect.. I...

Re: Oops. I sold the cargo I was meant to deliver.

There is one misunderstanding here... this is in no way "Quick Docking", this is a station.dockPlayer() and there is no penalty upon docking.. There is however Penalty upon launching each launching takes 10 min. Only thing there is to do is to request thata launchPlayer(suppres timeloss:bo...

Re: Oops. I sold the cargo I was meant to deliver.

I used to have a spotless reputation, but suddenly started to mysteriously miss long haul contracts - while still very far away... Eventually I got wise to the Save Anywhere bug that ate up time, but by then I was only doing opportunistic short hauls.? save anywhere bug that ate up time. ? AFAIK, d...

you should also check for "MoveToMainStation". "IDLE" seems self explanatory I'm writing a tweaked version as we speak, so you can suppress SA, if you need.. with [worldscript].suppress_save_anywhere. Set that to anything but false and it will not even show the Equipment trigger....

Re: Just found this rather nice proceedurally generated worl

You could with some effort do it rather easy , but it would never be feeling like FPS walking. you could even spawn a very large model and have frameCallbacks tie the player to the floor of the station and orientate him correctly so that it would feel like he was in a station. However, it would requ...
